I actually kinda like Chris Berman as a sportscaster, but I don't think he came off particularly well in that book. Regarding the NFL being pissed at ESPN's original drama Playmakers he said: "I knew that if the league was pissed, I should be pissed too." Why would you want to admit you basically let the NFL think

Another pun bites the dust.

I think Elvis has become kind of underrated in the sense that some people think of him as just a cult figure and forget about his talent.

But over my dead body!

Cave Johnson must have written it before dying of moon rock poisoning.

So did Stewart.

"Kind of terrible"? Please explain.

"I've trained for the Fuller House review…and this…is…MODERATOR HORSESHIT, Dik!

I think he's only "establishment" compared to Trump; before now Cruz was considered anti-establishment like Trump, and the establishment candidates were people like Jeb and Rubio.

GOP voters seem to think being widely hated is a sign of courage and moral righteousness. You know, being "politically incorrect" and all.

How is it that Trump isn't the most loathsome candidate?

I wonder what it's like for someone to know that their name will appear in the credits alongside "Assistant to Mr./Ms./Mrs. (blank)."

Epic Movie is 86 minutes long, of which the end credits are about 20.

Fun fact: apparently Iggy's father Igor is a writer as well.

I don't think Stephen was ever quite as edgy as you might think; I'd say the Correspondents' Dinner was more the exception than the rule. He was generally pretty civil with conservative guests even in the report. Besides, how would pushing harder against Cruz change the mind of any Cruz supporters?

I think Stephen was only pointing out how Republicans consider Reagan a great president, not that Stephen himself does. He's pointing out their hypocrisy by holding them up to the example of the man they claim to hold in such high esteem.

I doubt Trump supporters care what the media has to say about him. I think that if just pointing out that he's a bigot would bring down his campaign, he wouldn't still be leading in the polls. If anything, I'd say louder anti-Trump rhetoric would probably just make them feel even more victimized and angry.

There was a Star Trek: Enterprise two-parter about a human supremacist group. It's leader was white, but some of its prominent members were black, possibly as an intentional ironic touch.

Conversely, Terminator.
