Farmers and ranchers buy them for that amount around here all the time because they can drive them on roads and highways (not interstates) legally as an ATV. They're a good alternative to a side by side ATV as the cabin is heated and if desired, you can put ATV wheels and tires on it.

The SVT wasn't a sports coupe, it was a Grand Tourer. A segment of vehicle that is often misunderstood or thrown in with sports cars, despite the lack of sporting intention.

Everybody who runs in a reasonably well sanctioned autocross event has to yell at drivers who start drifting. I understand the desire to kick the back out for a dab of oppo, but you have to understand the influx of morans who thought they could hone their mad tyte JDM dorifto skilz on the autocross course.
A Toyota Corolla, even with the worst maintenance schedules would laugh at a million miles and just get broken in at the two million mark. As much as they're despised for being appliance vehicles, they are remarkably reliable in a way that suits only the owners of these cockroaches on wheels.
I see cars run red lights too. It just isn't as big of a deal because, well, I don't know why people don't get all upset when cars don't obey the rules of the road.

Most likely the stock summer tires. I know a guy who drives his supercharged (aftermarket kit) SS around with snow tires and doesn't have a problem getting around at all.
