Feel no shame. :)
It’s also scary how fiercely the public supported him when the first few women came forward. So many people were denouncing those first few women as “lying” and “fame whores” and “gold diggers” with “buyer’s remorse,” etc etc. It’s sad that these women only had a voice, because a man (Hannibal Buress) stood up for…
lol. Your comment sounds like you don’t know women in real life.
The only guys who say stuff like carlsburger, are guys that have no experience with women in real life.
I think a lot of young women in Hollywood get little nip/tucks, botox, and fillers prematurely and that “ages” them. For example, a lot of actresses (Mila Kunis, ScarJo, Angelina, Halle Berry) had more bulbous noses when they were younger, that gave them a soft, cherub-like, youthfulness, but when they got nose jobs…
Dammit. I skipped the headline in the article above, saw your comment, and got excited. I thought you were referring to the real Degrassi, not TNG. Now I’m feeling both disappointed and old.
<3
And strangely, it’s the least creepy thing about this post.
Didn’t Caitlyn kill someone recently in a car crash? It’s amazing how these things get hushed up when you’re rich and famous and the media’s new darling.
I am so sorry for everything you have been through. Thank you for sharing a part of your story. I wish you all the best in healing and many hugs.
That and excessive cosmetic surgery give them life.
Thank you, I appreciate it. I don’t read Jez nearly as often anymore (as a result of this ordeal) and I watch which writer I give my clicks to. Also, Gawker has been raising all kinds of ethical issues in their reporting lately. It’s just sad all around.
Seth Rogen, Adam Sandler, Jonah Hill, James Gandolfini, Jim Belushi, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Kevin James, Ed O’Neill, etc etc etc. None of these men are conventionally attractive and yet they have a place in Hollywood that women with unconventional looks don’t.
You know what drives me bonkers? When racists start with the, “what about Irish slavery? You never hear the Irish complaining about that!” -_-
Coen’s defense of this article was disappointing, but not unexpected. I’ve greatly reduced my clicks on Jez lately, out of frustration for the racist, sexist garbage they’ve been posting lately (very often about India, but the Middle East gets this treatment, too). The only thing they care about is clicks and, as an…
Don’t heap all your praise on the author, Jez obviously deserves some of the credit for publishing it, too!
ugh.
I wish Gawker would take heed. We’ve had like 20 articles on the gunman, with his derp derp face plastered all over them.
If that’s all they ever reported on, it would be fine, however, they attempt to report on sensitive news, often in the most tone-deaf and insensitive ways. If they stuck to articles on nail polish and Kim K’s butt, it would be fine.
