For all the blasting they did on Buzzfeed recently, this is pretty ironic.

I love how Jez/Gawker media berate the whole Buzzfeed ‘deleted article’ scandal and how Buzzfeed ‘isn’t journalism’. Then they publish garbage like this. The author needs to delete this article and apologize (and also allow Buzzfeed to mock them mercilessly).
Yes, every item in this article - well, except the huge violation of privacy that comes with distributing a woman’s leaked docs online without her consent.
Do you realize how tone deaf your comment is?
this isn’t feminism, it’s a tabloid blog.
How is this better than what happened to all those actresses during the nude leaked pics scandal? I wonder if Natasha Vargas-Cooper thinks that those guys were “worshipping” those actresses, by circulating their pics without consent.
Seriously, does Vargas-Cooper moonlight for 4Chan or something?
Don’t you know? Its only misogyny when 4Chan distributes leaked pics of beautiful actresses - when Jez distributes leaked docs of old broads, it’s hilarious! Ok?!
After reading a number of articles about Jonathan Crombie’s passing and then returning to this blurp written by Stassa Edwards - it just seems so lazy and thoughtless. She didn’t even attempt to address his other works, his good nature, the impact of Gilbert Blythe and the progressiveness of Anne of Green Gables, etc.…
Thank you. Stassa Edwards’s write-up on Mr Crombie’s death seemed rather thoughtless and lazy - no mention of Mr Crombie’s other works, his kindness, the greatness of the Gilbert Blythe character or AOGG, for that matter. It’s up to us readers to pay homage to him, I guess. ;)
Thank you. Jez can be surprisingly insensitive in announcing deaths (I came across this title a few days ago: http://jezebel.com/your-lunchtime… ). At least they didn’t say Mr Crombie was “dead,” I guess. I didn’t think much on the write-up about him either - it seemed lazy and thoughtless. No mention of any of his…
...with the addition that he was also always second to Anne, and never the primary thing of her life.
I think what made the Gilbert character so unforgettable in the minds of many girls and boys is that he represented a very underrated image of masculinity. He was gentle, selfless, sincere, and devoted (much like Matthew Cuthbert). He wasn’t a bumbling oaf, a brawny hunk, a marginalized nerd, or an over-the-top…
My favourite parts were when he tried proposing to her on the foot bridge and in the barn, so earnestly and passionately. When she rejects him, he broods - sent me into swoon-mode every time!
Do you know if he’s survived by a wife and kids? I feel like he was married, but I can’t see any mention of it now. Either way, a huge loss to the world.
I’d figure every inch of her (including her baby hairs) have been lasered away. What could she possible have left to laser?
I guess, but anytime a child schools an adult about something they should already know, the child gets a virtual high five from me. Way to go, 8 year old NamiChati! :)

Look at that bald fucker. Not only should women fat shame men who pull this crap, they should “bald shame” them, too.
