DBFZ had so much momentum in the first year, and Namco and ASW just let it fizzle out. My friends dropped DBFZ, and SF5, T7 and MK11 are still being played.

I’m hoping they get to top 32 together.
I thought Namco did a decent job with SC6, and I’m kinda surprised it’s just not as popular as other fighting games. Maybe people were too interested in playing “dress up” than actually competing.
I doubt it, because ESPN2 didn’t show anything at the last EVO, correct me if I’m wrong. In 2017, SF5 was shown on ESPN2, and maybe it didn’t test well for their audience. In 2018, EVO and ESPN didn’t have any TV deals and they just showed Overwatch during that time slot.
About damn time!
SF5 has been “struggling” yet it’s still one of the most popular fighting games in it’s third year of release and 4th season. SF5 was the most popular game at EVO Japan, and it’s the second most entered game at EVO this year. I do love how SF5 haters love making up stuff when the numbers don’t actually support the lie.
Well, I’m glad SF5 is being shown earlier during the final day. There were a few years where SF5 was the last event and started late, because of the two Smash games.
Wasn’t this guy the parody of Mark Cuban in that HBO show?
That’s awesome! His vocabulary is great.
Is Seth working on this project?
That’s a terrible thought, but I’m sure somebody out there has a breastfeeding fetish.
It’d be nice if they brought back aircraft carriers, and added submarines and destroyers.
Naruto sneakers for the Area 51 Naruto runners!

Mike Ross’s beef wasn’t with the quality of SF5. His grievances were mainly with Twitch, Capcom, and the corporate nature of eSports. It all started because of the CPT talk show he use to host on Twitch, where he was tasked with growing the FGC.
Makoto or Oro would have been great.
Mike Ross ain’t touching SF5 ever again. He’s spoken out against Capcom and Twitch, and I doubt he’ll be playing SF any time soon.
Kinda disappointing. There’s so many other fan favorite SF3 and SF4 characters that deserve to be in the SF5 roster.
I discovered Blazing Chrome in the game pass library, and it’s pretty amazing if you like Contra.
