Nergigante and B-52 were the only interesting monsters in the new roster. Vaal Hazak was crossing into Dark Souls territory. I wish there were more original designs, instead of all the reskins.

Some of the new monsters felt like reskins of older bosses, so the difficulty just wasn’t there for me. The only monster that gave me any trouble was Nergigante, when I first experienced his immobilizing roar and pounce/thorns combo.
I would have preferred some of the older monsters from MH3 and MH4. Classic Rajang, Tigrex, Akantor, Ukanlos, and Fatalis should be included in every MH game by default.
The Shanghai Dragons are the Cleveland Browns of the OWL.
Capcom, I’m not asking for a MHW port for Switch. I just want another portable version of MH that will replace MH4U as my portable game.
Monster Hunter has some of the best boss AI around, even since PS2. If you haven’t played the actual game, then you’re missing out.
I haven’t kept up with that show, but that scene was pretty good.
Just be aware that the joystick and buttons are different in both of those sticks. It’s mainly preference, but I suggest you find a way to test them out.
Portable 3rd was good, but way too short. There were some nice improvements to the franchise too.
Japan wins again!
MHFU will forever be my favorite MH game. I’ve put so many damn hours playing on the PSP in various locations, and meeting up with friends.
Most likely to expose someone’s shameful secret.
Taking a break from MHW after hitting HR60. I just enjoyed MH4U a lot more. I’ll be focusing on learning DBFZ this week.
Yo-yos would be sick!
I was a bit annoyed at some of the streamlining. I just ran around quick looting everything.
I dunno. I’ve gotten multiple gems from the elder dragons, Rathalos and Rathian plates/gems, and majestic horns from Diablos without much hassle.
There’s no need to fix something that’s worked for the franchise for years. There’ll probably be a patch for skippable cutscenes in the near future.
Why does MH need to reinvent their multiplayer lobbies when players have been happy with it for years? Having to overhaul their lobbies just to cater to western audiences shouldn’t be a priority for a Japanese game. There’s also been the same multiplayer complaints about the Souls games, and I’m glad they haven’t…
Honestly, I think the drop rates on rare mats have been increased, because I’ve gotten multiple gems and plates with no excess farming like in previous MH games.
DITTO! I put so many hours into MH on PSP and 3DS, it’s a game that I could play forever. Lets just hope Capcom doesn’t start getting greedy with MHW.
