That’s awesome, but I’m still waiting for Hollow Knight!
That’s awesome, but I’m still waiting for Hollow Knight!
Project Cars 2 with a wheel and VR headset is pretty awesome. I’m still upset that Codemasters will not be supporting VR in F1 2017. It’s definitely hard to go back to looking at a monitor.
They’re using a 4K upscaler on that headset. There’s no way it would work at a native resolution.
The resolution is upscaled, and there’s image distortion issues. Also, not everybody is a fan of a 200 degree FOV. Their last product was hit or miss with most people, which has me worried about proper software support, positional tracking, and the quality of their motion controllers. The design and feel of the Oculus…
I’m a fan of the 911 GT3 Cup. It’s a damn good challenge trying to shave that extra second off your lap time.
Honestly, I don’t see VR hardware evolving at a fast rate, so it’s worth the early investment. Watching friends and family members fall over, get spooked, or wave their hands around like idiots has been priceless. I love the VR controller games, VR racing and flight simulators has been an amazing unique experience.
It’s kinda funny that Oculus CV1 shipped with integrated headphones, and now every other headset is releasing revisions. I wasn’t happy to pay $100 for an improved audio strap for the HTC Vive.
I have friends that wanted to play it together. Not all my friends are into sim racing, and they usually play Forza or Gran Turismo. I have to make the best of it or end up just requesting a refund.
You’re seriously trying to make a money bet over the internet with a random stranger? You must be 13 years old.
Sure buddy, whatever you say! Forza is known for being accurate...
You’re actually trying to defend Forza’s Porsche GT2 car modelling? Try driving the assortment of Porsche cars in Assetto Corsa, Project Cars 2 or iRacing, and it’d still be easier to handle than FM7's GT2 abomination.
I type about 120 WPM on my old $5 Kensington keyboard. When I upgraded to Cherry MX Red switches, I was able to get up to 130 WPM.
Any new content?
Yea, Steam has been doing it for at least 14 years now. Downloads on Xbox seem to work smoothly too. Microsoft can’t figure out how downloads should work on their own operating system.
You’re definitely right about that. They’re blinded by the large collection of cars. It’s funny that the racing truck handles better than the Porsche GT2.
I read the FM7 VIP membership expires after a certain amount of uses too. There seems to be a HUGE focus on loot crates now. A lot of people have been asking for refunds through Amazon and the Microsoft store.
I had an awful experience downloading Forza 7 on the crappy Windows 10 store. It restarted 3 times at 15 GB, 50 GB, and 80 GB. Apparently, there’s a bunch of similar complaints on the official FM7 forums. This also happened for GoW4 and FH3 too.
I’m buying the game just for the art style and animation, because it’s truly fantastic. Cuphead and Hollow Knight have pushed the boundaries of art for indie games.
The last time I checked, Capcom wasn’t a non-profit company. Don’t act as if Capcom is the first company to try and make money off DLC. There’s some fighting games where you can’t even unlock DLC characters with in-game currency, but you’re gonna keep bitching about Capcom being unfair.
The fight money system might not be fair for online play, but I’ve accumulated enough to buy 11 DLC characters and other items with little effort on my part. This week’s challenge gives you 13K FM, and they’ve given away 75K FM in log in bonuses this year, which is more than fair.
