It’s also going to hurt consumer confidence in their new products (eventually). Tesla thinks it can do no wrong because the current demand for their products is high; but any economist or marketing professional worth their salt will tell you that demand shifts happen ALL THE TIME. Once you’ve earned a bad reputation,

We are of the same mind.

lol, just typical tech baron shit. I appreciate Tesla for all its done in mainstreaming EVs and building a car company from scratch. Truly impressive feats. However, as someone who will most certainly by an EV here in the next few years i wouldnt ever consider buying one from Tesla.

I haven’t been in any vehicle with any kind of driver assist akin to what’s talked about here or in Teslas, etc. but I have to think that, done correctly, with your unfettered focus on what the car’s systems are doing, at the ready to take over at any moment, would be more tiring/numbing than actually doing the

I’ll probably get roasted, but I never cared for American Top Gear. Some bits here and there were funny/entertaining, but overall, it wasn’t good. Not sure I’d call it the worst though.

You both likely have states that use fuel taxes to pay for road maintenance. Whether they do that well or not is a different story. Whether those monies are firewalled or are 100% fungible is another story.

Seriously, I’m all for hating on billionaries, but as billionaire yachts go, this is pretty cool.

So they’re repurposing a ship that would otherwise be dismantled in an environmentally friendly manner, and your take is it’s bad, just because it’s for a billionaire?

Alright, I’m going to say it because it’s obvious nobody else is.

RE: #3. Pansies. My commute into and out of Boston is 3 hours of often stop and go traffic and I would’ve have it any other way than with a 3rd pedal. It’s the only thing that keeps me interested in something other than suck-starting a 9mm in traffic.

Being able to open the passenger window is pretty frickin’ sweet.

Automatic windows? Really?

I know everyone says that sunroofs leak and break regularly, but every car I’ve ever had that’s not a convertible has had a sunroof with not even one issue. I use them all the time when I want some open air feeling without letting it all in, like when it’s a sunny 45 degree day in the spring, too cold for windows down

If you know where I can find running Toyota pickups for $600-$800 I’ll buy all they  have.

I doubt you could have found a running Toyota pickup in good condition for $600 at any point in the last 5 years.

$1500?  You’re lucky the seller doesn’t understand the current market.  I’m shocked this one isn’t $5k.  I can’t imagine the POS that’ll be listed for $1500.

Behold! The market!

What the heck is with these comments today?

Man walks into dealership for SERVICE. I don't know about you, but no one from sales talks to me when I am in for service. Also, they added at least 5 grand worth of bullshit charges in the way of a maintenance plan and service contract. Something tells me they saw an easy target and went for it. That is a little
