Doesn’t Dodge 1500 do it with their air suspension?
Ok, I have a technical question. How is any electric truck going to work well for towing? I believe an electric motor makes its maximum torque at 0 rpm and drops of from there, correct? So, as the vehicle speed increases, the torque available decreases. That’s fine for level ground but as you start to climb a hill…
No angry comment from me as I agree. The Model 3 has he ugliest, most un-intuitive, interior I’ve ever seen, almost as ugly as the exterior.
Is that the final word?
I think he may have meant that its a dumbass bar in the sense that it is its name. Not that the bar is a dumbass, just a bar to protect the bridge from dumbasses. At least that’s how I read it.
Rylos? Is that a Last Starfighter reference?

I’m not denying that you achieved better performance when changing the tires, but there’s many more reasons that a more likely to give you that improvement. Tire pressure, compound and/or tread design changes between tire sizes or date of manufacture, tire age (a big one!), vehicle or driver weight, etc. Just…
I’m not sure exactly what your mean by 200/50 but I’m assuming you mean something like a 205/50/15. If that’s the case then you need to understand that what you said is not how tire measurements work. The first number is the width of the tire (205 mm wide), the second number is there sidewall height expressed as a perc…
Even with the wider tires, the overall amount of rubber contacting the road is the same. I’m sure the patch is wider but it’s also skinnier, thus giving you better lateral grip but lower straight line traction. You could put a 20" wide tire/wheel combo on it and it would still be there same amount of contact, provided…
Wider may look better but the amount of rubber actually touching the pavement of exactly the same between both sizes. You will give up a little straight line traction to gain a little lateral grip. Here's a quote from Road and Track “When you install wider tires without changing anything else, the size of the tire’s…
My favorite. “....the track is always lit.” “So is my brother, but he still needs headlights!”
I was young at the time, like 8 or 9. Also moved away in 85, but I will ask my mother if she remembers.
Pioneer chicken was the best! I remember going to the one on Hollister Ave in Santa Barbara. That would have had to have been in the seventies or early eighties. There are still 2 left in SoCal, in LA. I went to one of them a few years ago and, man, did it bring back memories. That orange colored fried chicken was…
I can see your point, I guess I just see those things as simple or basic maintenance that many cars would/do require. But of course everyone’s skill level is different. What one person sees as difficult and time consuming, another sees as simple and quick.
Out of curiosity, how is an e30 m3 an expensive, unreliable endeavour? Aside from the cost to purchase one now, that is. But S14 is based on the M10, which is one of the most bulletproof engines BMW ever made. And, maybe aside from some suspension bits and body parts, everything else is off the shelf BMW and shared…
I concur! All my 6ft and 8ft trailers are a bitch to back up smoothly but I can back my 26ft travel trailer into almost any spot without the slightest issue.
What about grammar nazis? I’m pretty sure that’s a term people throw around.
