What part of NorCal? That sounds about the same time my friend and I used to hang out and cruise in Modesto. I agree, things changed drastically around that time and I lost interest but i have good memories of cruising McHenry Ave.

We always called those idiots hanging around, ”klingons”. And nothing used to attract the police faster than a long string of cars following us out to some industrial park or out of the way street. Preferred to go out, race with minimal fanfare and not attract attention.

Why? It doesn’t matter what size engine they put in it as long as it’s fast.

So, i’m wondering. Wouldn’t the local DMV, or whatever it’s called overseas, have caught the fact that someone was trying to register a vehicle that was already registered with the same VIN?

So, maybe i’m in the monority here but this one didn’t really impress me. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all the previous gymkhana videos but this one just looked like someone screwing off in the desert. Nothing in the video screamed “I have skills!”. I feel that most, if not all of the things done in this video could

Nissan Versa. Even the name makes me nauseous. Had one as a rental once and after no more than 5 minutes of driving it I had to exchange it for something, anything else. When I got home, I told my wife, that car made me angry just driving it. I can’t believe someone would own one. I can usually find something good

I was thinking this same thing. And if the ride was a little too stiff, why not just take out a leaf or two from the pack. Or if that drops it down too much and you didn’t want to stick a small 1" block in there, then I would recommend finding a local shop that will make a spring with the proper arc and spring rate.

I know this will never happen because it would require all manufacturers to agree on one battery connector and case size but....... It would solve a lot of problems if the battery was easily hot swapped. Similar to what Tesla did/talked about with pulling into a station and a robot would swap out the battery under

I think its all dependent on what you are willing to live with. My former TJ on 35"s had tons of power, handled like crap, was noisy and cold but I loved DDing it till i sold it. My current truck 1995 K2500 w/ 4" and 35's is just fine for daily use for me. I don’t expect it to handle good and the mileage is abysmal

I know this may not be the proper place to ask this (though I have no idea where the proper place is), but how do I get “ungrayed”?

M10 all the way! Though I guess that’s kinda going the opposite direction, isn’t it?

I second this. Replace 1970 2002 with 1979 E21 and you’ve described my experience exactly.

Love that color!

You won’t understand the love till you drive/own one. My heavily modified E21 is still slow by today’s standards but it’s millions of times more engaging to drive than my wife M235i. And like they say, its far more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow.

I know there are many but at the moment this is the only one that comes to mind only because my wife still talks about it to this day. A while back, we were out back country camping in our 91 4Runner and 06 Dodge 2500. We left the radio on too long on the 4Runner, draining the battery. It was an auto so there was

Depends on location for sales tax. Here in Nevada, no sales tax on private party sales.

Oh, so it wasn’t even your car. It got to be the pads not the customers driving style that did it. Yes, the Raybestos pads are probably better quality but that doesn’t mean the others were crap. It could just mean that the Raybestos were more tolerant of the customers crappy driving, i.e riding with their foot on the

I’m sorry, but if the pads “glazed” the rotors and failed within an hour, there’s some other issue going on there.

+1 for the Hitchhikers Guide reference!
