I see what you’re saying, and I get that the jokes are meant to be over the top, but it doesn’t really change my mind that that particular joke was unnecessary. I think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

Eh. The TV Roasts have been comedy slums for years. I am not surprised they added her to boost hatewatch ratings. They always seem to add one “celeb” each year who read off a script.

Some of these insults were low level internet troll shit, and thus, not very funny.

I agree. I get that the roasts are supposed to be brutal, but there was nothing original or funny about that.
