I've found that the only real "dealbreakers" that I have are ones I determined after past experiences and not wanting to replicate those mistakes or dredge up baggage.

This is so weird. Based on my (very limited) experience I have found the exact opposite when it when it comes to women knowing what they want and being confident enough to insist on it. It's a much more enjoyable time for everyone involved. I must be dating the wrong people.

Oh my god, I thought I was the only one. It compels me to like it, despite it being objectively bad.

This pretty much sums up 1FCK. This year. Every year.

No, no, no. Thou shalt not commit adultry, man.

I'm conflicted, but not so much about being attached to my team because they're already kind of dead to me (thanks Big Ben and the "classiest" front office in football that retains him).

45 years? Really Browns fan, nothing in that bad in 45 years of watching the Browns?

Not in the context of the e-mail, not really. Especially if the racial dynamics of Atlanta make that statement true. I'm not from ATL, so I have no idea if that is truly what's happening or if that Georgia having a higher proportion of the population be black than other markets is what's going on. It would be racist

Good lord what's with the MRA pity parade here? It's silly and more about how completely un-fleshed out any of the princes are. Prince charming is spot on, Beast was an ass which is why he was cursed in the first place, Aladdin was a liar, etc.

That looks suspiciously like my pillow cases/comfoter cover pattern. Which I got at Target.

Haha, you dumb bastard; IT'S A SAILBOAT!

I don't know a whole lot really, I was just interested in the culture and more of the "why." Bronies do quite a bit of whining in our own circles about how Hasbro doesn't care about us. I always wondered if it was true and if so why. There's no definitive statement or answer from the company that explains why they do

Fair enough. Honestly I don't get that much into the community and go to events because I find many of my fellow fans obnoxious or abrasive on a personal level and I leave before I become negative. Thus, I don't interact with other bronies all that much.

I do want to apologize for how I wrote that, I think I came off like an ass. But anyhoo, I know a little, but mostly from news reports, NPR, and following some of the community. Although there isn't much actual meta data on bronies, there are unfortunately reasons for the stereotypes. Many are young, still in school,

I am actually curious. I am a brony I guess, but I don't go to many cons and am not as deeply versed in the culture as most. When you say stuff like "harassing and intimidating actual little girls at Cons, physically assaulting and molesting female Con-goers" that grabs my attention becuase I have never heard of that

Plus I kind of blame them for MLP's character makeovers, in which they were changed from actual ponies into sexy teen fashionistas

Why on earth did you spend ten hours there?! I'm one of them and I can only take being totally submerged in the culture in small doses. We're you trying to work yourself up, because that would certainly do it for me. You are a woman of infitine patience.

I've seen everything there is to see in terms of fannish obsessions and art and fic and everything else,

Since this forum is already down here on my level, I have a burning question that I have been searching for an anwer to for years:

Wow that's crazy. Thanks for the info, Twitter seems like a medium made for him.
