I used to be able to click on the ‘see all replies’ button on the pages my notification links sent me to, and have Kinja load my comment right there, but it’s turned into “show every comment”, then add a click on ‘show pending’, then do a search for my comment somewhere down the comment tree, clicking on ‘load more…

Yeah. Calling him immortal doesn't make sense. Even if you try to argue that it's the consciousness or "soul" that's immortal, why does he forget everything? Unless dying is so traumatic that it causes amnesia...They didn't think this through lol.
