That definitely puts it a lot closer to the sweet spot for a couple of cars that are getting increasingly harder to find in such clean condition. I think I’ve seen your diesel before (I live just up I-80 in Sacramento). If it’s the one I remember seeing, it certainly presents incredibly well in person.

I know the seller, he’s a very good, meticulous and knowledgeable VW guy. I have seen the car in person numerous times. The work is absolutely top-notch on the TDI swap, and he’s driven it all over the place with no issue and crazy MPG.

Amen. Overzised wheels actually look ridiculous.

MAYBE YOU JUST LIKE CARS.

As someone who bought a Corrado TDI that someone else converted - this is too much. But not by much. Looks clean. $12k is probably not too much if it absolutely needs nothing. But that can’t be true. Probably under $10k. BTW - you can join the teeny tiny club of us Corrado TDI drivers for cheap money! http://boston.cra

Here’s a little secret: I’m a VW Vortex member. Also, I am on AlfaBB, BimmerForums, Audizine, QuattroWorld, Classic Z Car Club, the Jensen Healey Preservation Society, and Swedespeed. Yes, I have a lot of oddball cars.

Someone should call VW, this is the sort of thing they should be doing to rebuild their image.

I agree, he did a great job. And properly cleaned the car before taking said pics. It’s bizarre how many times you see cars for sale and it looks like they first ate a dozen donuts in the front seat, they flew to the moon to take the pictures. Of course, there’s at least one photo with their thumb hiding the

I voted nice price. I’d take the set for $29k, drive them Sunday-go-to-meeting style; and when his wife is better, sell them back to him.

Though WAY too expensive, even if it is for a good cause, this guy deserves an award for the best car sale photos of all time. I had trouble telling if the first one was a stock photo or not.

Good cause, nice car. That said, give to the gofundme, let this guy keep his cars, and everybody wins.

“...and serve as a reminder that wheels don’t have to be huge to be cool.”

This is an invalid NPOCP. $14K isn’t just for the car, there’s a charitable donation built into it. $14K gets you a car and helps fund their medical needs.

Probably a Nice Price, though no one will admit it.
