Me too!
Me too!
I saw this last night and was really disappointed. I see so much love for this movie that I need to tell some folks to temper their expectations a bit.
It's got some nice acting, cinematography, and locations, but most of theater I saw it with seemed a bit bored and distracted at times, and I felt that way myself.

IMPERIUM - Man, Valiant knows comics. The first issue was a tour de force (hyperbole? I don't know) and the second issue didn't disappoint. The writing reminds me of Hickman firing on all cylinders and the art is beautiful. I'm looking forward to great things from this company.
But how do you think Suge got all his expensive jewelry?
Sounds more like you have a Scarface dartboard, and Scarface posters hanging around your house with big red X's and the word "BADD" written on them. We get it.
That's kinda like saying you can't read Cyclops #1 or something because you don't read the X-Men. It helps, but it's not a dealbreaker. I think the write ups on the first page do a fine job of catching you up.
Imperium is one of the best written books I've read lately. Like Hickman when he's rocking. Plus it's at issue number 2, not too much catch up for you.
My boss said that we had a Mustache Pouch.
I looked at Xanderpuss's avatar once.
She played the beef jerky on Sons of Anarchy, right?
At the same time?! Dayymmmm
How much more content do we need? I can't keep up with all these shows man.
Not only that, but three flavors for 12 wings? I could see for 24, but 12?!
Just pick one homie
Have a bowl of gumbo while you're at it!
Excuse me…it was not an orgy, it was a gangbang, thank you very much.
Everyone's choices are pretty tame. The scariest covers were the ones with just gory screenshots, it made the movie seem so gritty and real.
Now, how about some choice video store brain-searers?
Beware, these are real VHS covers.
I watched Whiplash last night with a few people and no one really liked it.
It was NOT subtle - (blood, sweat and tears, and pushing people, we get it).
Also, the teacher veered a little too much into super-villany land for the ending scene. And why (SPOILER) did he lie about the kid committing suicide? It seemed…
Yeah but William Munny underplays his rep while Kyle exaggerates his.
I started reading book number #7 or something last nite. It's probly the most racist book this side of Mien Kampf.
The title is Mugger Blood, and I'm sure he wanted to call it N*gg*er Blood but wasn't allowed to so he went with something with the same "look". Its pretty shocking.
Matlock was on at the bar last night. The sound was off, but I got the gist of it.
