Me too. I could spend $70k on a car but just can’t do it. I’m a 3-4 year old $30-$35k car that was $70k+ new kinda guy.

I have fond memories of driving down the road feet dangling off of the tailgate of my mom’s Ford Falcon wagon. Sure, I almost fell off to certain serious injuries when she went over bumps once in a while but man was that fun!

I could not look at this every time I drove this monster. Baffling choice to be sure. And it looks so cheap. At least install it with inset torx fasteners or some such and not some screws from home depot.

It sounds very nice. I miss the bulletproof reliability of that car. I went the opposite direction when I got an E60 M5 to replace it. Lololol! Thank God I bought a warranty. It paid out over $20,000 while it was in force. The company I got it from, NAC, stopped offering warranties on the M5 and M6 of that generation…

I had a 99 GS400 that I loved. Lowered, staggered Works wheels, high stall torque converter and Carson tuned stainless exhaust. It was a beauty!
