I am enjoying the pacing because of all the interesting details, but I am curious to see Nootka; I hope we get to see Delaney there at some point - or maybe in a sequel.

Agreed. Observer's comments are sometimes pretty funny and clever.I really enjoy the dialogue, narrative and historical context of Taboo. It is beautiful by shot and the pacing is interesting. I hate when I figure out the mystery too soon; not necessary to give Delaney's story away immediately . It is more compelling.

true dat! AHS hasn't been compelling for years. The scenery and photography direction is always stunning, so I keep watching. Regarding story telling or "horror", even my kid doesn't get scared watching it. It's more like a collection of assholes put in strangely grosser situations, but that does not make it a story.
I did the same. I really did try to tolerate the first paragraph, but I could not get through it. Even is the reviewer didn't care for the show, there were plenty of positive things to say about it; she seems quite obtuse and misses the point. That is one of the great things about the Bridge, the female lead has some real psychological issues that sometimes even interfere with her ability to be hyper capable.
