It’s not like Trout’s in a small market. Just, you know, Angels.

Thing is, if he fights for his principles and wins, he gets... cash.

Pineapple’s fine. It’s not for everyone, and it’s the sort of strange thing that if you don’t like it, you REALLY don’t like it, but it’s fine. Most people approve.

There’s a place in my hometown that does deep fried garlic balls. They might actually be garlic knots that are then deep fried.

The supermarket here gets some strange Bell’s in from time to time.

Cole didn’t hit Wilson; he hit Kuznetsov.

“Vertical penetration through the entire backfield" just means each d-lineman kicking the shit out of each o-lineman on each play, doesn't it.

The moaning/grunting is one thing, but this guy seems to be screaming at the ends of points as well.

...six original?

The shame is how close to a good ending it was. Underwood convinces the crowd, rather than Trashcan Man shows up, and it’d be pretty much fine.

Matt Cooke should absolutely have been kicked out of the NHL, several times over.

This year, as I do every year, I will try and fail to convince whoever I’m watching the Super Bowl with that we’re better off watching the halftime kittens than the official Halftime Show.

Andruw Jones should be in the Hall.

Having rewatched Parks & Rec about 11,000 times, Andy was never that heavy. I always expect to see “fat” Chris Pratt in early seasons, and he’s just not fat. Obviously, fatter than he is now, but not fat.

Weird/hot take: I’m not a huge fan of pepperoni on pizza. At least, not on a good NY slice. The end result is just a ton of pepperoni taste.

Yeah but he didn’t play in that last game so he’s no longer elite and like such as.

I don’t disagree there. Similarly, I’m happy with the deal the Mets got for Wilson Ramos.

Doesn’t this make the case not to spend? Develop functional catchers who can give you 1-2 WAR between them for cheap, then spend the 15 mil per year a top catcher could cost you on positions where the difference between meh and top-5 is more than 1-2 WAR.

While I agree that the market is fucked in baseball (just look at player salaries as a percentage of revenue, which keeps dropping) I do think spending a lot on a catcher is somewhat of a waste.

Vic Fangio should’ve been a head coach a while ago.
