On the one hand, I’m glad Khara told Funimation to go back and do the dub right rather than release one that wasn’t good.

You guys missed a golden opportunity to say the filmmakers were going to take a STAB at it.

Sorta sad when a game is referred to as “actually coming out” and it’s a big deal. (That’s not a dig at Kotaku, btw, more a dig at Comcept.)
That said, I’m still excited about this game despite all the negativity surrounding it.

Heck yeah Link’s Awakening! Was starting to think I was the only one who remembered it.

Three of the four movies are out (3.33 just released in the States last month) and I believe the fourth one is on hold until Anno is done working on Godzilla Resurgence. So it’ll be a while before Rebuild wraps up.

Hideaki Anno is also writing and co-directing Godzilla Resurgence for Toho, so that’s something to consider when looking at the legitimacy of this. I pray it’s real, I’ll buy it all.

The thing I couldn’t get over was the fact that the events of the movie center around controversy regarding Superman, revolving around the consequences of his actions and making him seem like this larger than life walking natural disaster, and then they try to cram in Messianic symbolism for the sake of trying to NOT…

Japan... there is another half of the world that likes video games, ya know.

and XCOM: Enemy Within. (in all seriousness I have no idea why this isn’t listed.)

That was me, in this case. XCOM 2's my most anticipated game of the year, and I got itchy. When I saw the preorder bonuses and whatnot I just jumped on it, even though I normally never preorder. I just really wanted this game.

My parents used to keep notebooks when they played Legend of Kyrandia and Monkey Island. Pretty much the only way to get through the tunnels with the fireberries, or Monkey Combat.

Okay, that is just awesome.

I’m still waiting on the third one to come out over in the States. Supposedly it’s here February 2nd but with Funimation’s track record with it so far, I’ll believe it when the disk is playing on my TV and not a second before.

This makes me sad. Not angry, just sad. I really want this game to come out and do well and be the spiritual successor to Mega Man everyone deserves (especially Inafune.) But at the same time I’m kinda glad I didn’t get in on the Kickstarter. If I had I’m sure these delays would really be killing my enthusiasm.

But…
