I think it was more meant as “Americans looks bad because they can’t deal with healthcare issues” and not because some guy didn’t went to the dentist because he has money issues. Well, at least, that’s how I understood the article and Mount_Prion comment ...

Well, the name Nicky Larson come from the localized version of the show who was broadcasted 28 years ago in France when whitewashing was not considered a problem yet. I guess calling the film Ryu Saeba or City Hunter wouldn’t be good marketing wise.

Let’s keep a low profile, my dear compatriot.

If you can make a buck by pretending it is, then sure !

I think the world is not ready ...

As a playground for one of the most idiosyncratic superheroes of all time, Marvel’s Spider-Man is sheer bliss. It’s a sandbox platformer first and foremost, and a damn good one. Throughout playing the game I was constantly hounded by the question of whether this—sublime superhero traversal in a gorgeous, idealized

Of course ! I live there and it’s a very nice place and ... oh, neverwind I get it now ...

Yeah, the films about the “Ch’ti” is what everyone tries to emulate with the regional films and the movie about the handicapped guy is the one I talk about Intouchables. They are both pretty good. I guess the other one is “Serial (bad) weddings” which is pretty nice (but I saw it on a 12 hour flight so my judgment

I guess it’s hard to watch movies from our own country since we see the good movies but also the bad ones ;) You speak of Pierre Richard or Louis de Funes and they are great but they are quite old and don’t represent all of the french movies that are getting out nowadays.

Comme un éclair il tourbillonne !”

I’m not that sure that it won’t be worse. Phillipe Lacheau is not exactly the kind of director I have confidence in.

As a French, I generally skip all the french movies as they tend to be poor adaptation of old comics with humor usually for teenagers. The thing is that they are very cheap to make and can count on people who saw the comics as childs and want to have a nice cup of nostalgia so ... they almost always make money.

Oh, god, I think I saw her at an event in my little town a few years ago.

To be fair, I tried it once. It was ... interesting but maybe too much flavor for me. If you ever find a Brie de Meaux or Brie de Melun (I can’t remember which one it was but both should be pretty strong), try it :)

I’d rather eat camembert than a real brie. Brie made from the region it’s from is strong as f***.
