Your “method” for calling out hypocrisy is to make irrelevent comments on a silly article about Christmas decoration. Thank god you’re here to save liberals from themselves.

I’m not trying to offend anyone here though.”

No, we wouldn’t. And if you don’t like the articles, feel free to not be here anymore.

The video game Injustice suffers from the same problem. They keep embellishing the designs to the point where they’re no longer memorable and iconic. I guess being “cool” means bolting on a whole lot of useless, cumbersome crap.

I understand that you are being facetious, but “If there’s someone who knows what’s best for a Zack Snyder film, it’s a bunch of people who aren’t Zack Snyder...” is probably one of the truest statements ever written on this collection of blogs.

I’ve seen it twice but never felt it got out from under the shadow of Vangelis. Admittedly it’s a huge shadow. Is Maurice Jarre still scoring? If he could have done a synth score in line with Mosquito Coast or Witness that would be hard to beat.

Man, the more I see it, the more I’m ready to hop on the bandwagon and declare “THAT FLASH COSTUME IS FUCKING TERRIBLE”

Well, Joss Whedon just Liked a Tweet that called Steppenwolf the worst comic book movie villain ever.

I don’t know about ‘enjoyable’ but I have the soundtrack for Under the Skin and very, very much appreciate it as a work separate from the film. It’s an incredible score both within the film and out of it.

Usually DC movies have much better film scores than Marvel, this past month might be the first time it flipped. The score to Thor Ragnarok was a lot of fun, and really fit the rest of the movie. Justice League was a boring hodgepodge, and adding snippets of the old Batman and Superman themes are just reminders that

To my mind, still the definitive run of this comic. The mix of downright cornpone humor with legit superhero action/drama was perfect. Ted Kord in this series is still one of my favorite superheroes. (Ignoring his original Charlton incarnation- Ditko was heavy into the Randianism by then.)

“No one thinks that the videos you currently see on Facebook are the future of visual journalism,” one high-level employee told Splinter. “Everything we’re doing today is going to be wrong in six months.”

This was a great run, probably my second favorite Justice League incarnation, but it did also lead to a lot of terrible Justice League comics, and really spread the concept way too thin (Justice League Europe).

I dunno if it’s my favorite, but it’s certainly the most fun superhero comic run I’ve ever read.

Thanks for saying this - I was thinking the same thing. Us god damn women, always pretending to like music for attention!

The Guy Gardner Batman rivalry from those Justice League issues led to this great panel from the Green Lantern Corps Recharge mini-series.

Please tell me that despite the various rebootings that “One punch!” is still canon. It has to be.

Critiquing music or any other art form is futile.
