A natural evolution of the Men’s Rights Bronies from a few years ago, I guess. Still baffling.

Or Kinjaburger, which I imagine is a two pieces of white bread sitting on top of a horse meat patty, with bread-and-butter pickles and miracle whip smeared on the table next to the plate.

Also Hancock, sorta. And Men in Black is based on a comic, though it’s not a spandex movie.

It’s got a stubby little body and blunt, oversized headstock that make it look like a toy.

Wow, that flying V looks like a fucking ukulele. Absolutely awful.

Them killing Sonar seems like foreshadowing now for sure.

Hell, I still have a 50 buck Chinese strat knockoff from 20 years ago that plays and sounds just fine.

They’re still trying to split the middle ground between boutique luthier guitars (handmade, US parts only, specifically sourced wood types) and mass manufacturing. Plus they’re a massive bureaucracy now, under the guidance of non-musician middle managers and bean counters, with seemingly no idea how to market to

Yeah they have definitely been focused on high-end boutique stuff with a niche market lately. For an article about how the world is “filled with needlessly cynical content” this sure is needlessly condescending.

Is Uwe Boll’s podcast just him talking shit about other directors and movies? That’s amazing.

God forbid you actually read the article you’re linking to.

I thought this was going to be about cocaine.

They really could have trimmed 30 minutes out of this movie and not lost much. I loved it, and I have a lot of patience for slow movies, but found my attention span and bladder severely tested by this in the theater.

Solomon Kane’s got some “darkest Africa” tropes but skews a little more sympathetic than the Conan stuff. Kane has a “witch doctor” sidekick in a few stories.

Oh, Lovecraft was repulsed by white people plenty, too.

Clearly The Tick is the next Game of Thrones.
