I’d say ALL of their albums tower over Bon Jovi, even the 90's stuff.
Agreed. The characters in the first book are all basically cyphers - a little bit of setup first ought to mitigate that at least somewhat. As long as they don’t try to make it Jurassic Park by way of Lovecraft I’m okay with some changes.
I assumed Marshmellow was the one that gave Linda the drugs that kept her up all night, so presumably they all made up.
I once had a Miami cop helpfully tell me to “try not to get stabbed”.
“Fine” can mean “middling” which is about what C- signifies.
Losing Snyder’s ugly-ass color scheme also made the costumes all look even more ridiculous, especially Flash. Look at that header pic!
“Warner Bros. is rethinking its DC movies in the wake of ____”
“Not all things are equal” huh? No shit:
Isn’t it widely known that black people are crackhead thieves, jews are greedy subhumans, women only care about money, homosexuals are all pedophiles, internet commenters are all gamergate virgins, and Americans are intellectually lazy bigots who can’t see their own dicks because of their Budweiser bellies?
I’d love that set but I can’t justify 400 bucks for it.
I’m sure the trailer for this will have a slow, twinkly-piano, white-lady-singin’ cover of the theme, and the soundtrack will feature covers by a wide variety of crappy modern acts.
Don’t you know that anyone who dislikes mediocrity is an elitist?
Redglare is also in Down By Law and Strangers in Paradise; tellingly, he’s the sketchiest dude in two different Jarmusch movies.
There’s no chance in hell Trump knows who Darren Aronofsky is.
Yeah, that’s a super weird comparison that stuck out to me. Who in the hell is a die-hard fan of both of these directors?
Armless Tiger Man would like a word with you.
Morrison’s book is basically the platonic ideal Justice League.
It’s less direct satire and more ensemble action-comedy, but if you like X-Statix I’d imagine you’ll still enjoy it very much.
I would’ve loved to hear El-P’s proposed soundtrack, but surely it would’ve been bombastic as hell too.
