The gay space Nazis don’t seem so fartetched these days.

I’m not condemning anybody for anything; I’ve read the book and seen the original movie. I’d agree that the book is “pretty good”, but certainly not “phenomenal” as the other commenter put it.

Kind of a stretch to call the 90's X-men cartoon “good”.

Why are people so excited about this movie? Is it just nostalgia for the lame 90's one? Is it because “scary clowns” are a meme? Vague brand name recognition?

It sucks that Kinja always puts these troll posts at the top of pages. They say the gray system is designed to fight trolls, but the fact that posts with the most responses, instead of most likes, get promoted to the top seems to directly contradict this.

“Through the course of my fascinatingly dull life, I’ve always found fiction so much more truthful than reality—and, yes, I’m aware of the irony”

You’re thinking of I.C.E. fairies, who deported all the others back to Iceland, or “Snow Mexico”.

There’s no chance this movie will be anything close to good.

How does she feel about Jim from The Office?

I am mod maker, so yes, paid mods are not the antichrist to me that they are to people such as yourself.

Bethesda’s absolutely blowing this opportunity already with these piddly little offerings. For all the talk about carefully curated content, this is the kind of stuff that appears on the Nexus daily. They should take time to make these something special, something that takes advantage of the resources made available

Shocked. I am SHOCKED.

Ah...Kinja seems to be working well.

Snyder nailed the racism and jingoism of 300, though.

You think critique of consumerism and class exploitation are no longer meaningful? I would argue that the themes of Dawn are more relevant than ever.

Stokoe's Godzilla book was great, if you haven't checked it out.
