Seriously, the two year Negan arc was the nadir of the book. If they stretch it out over two seasons here I might have to just give up on the show.

I'm not terribly familiar with the source material but the general sentiment seems to be that, like Akira, it's a Japanese tale at it's core. Edge of Tomorrow seems like more a generic action setting.
