I share my name with a car and a superhero, so I introduce myself by saying my name and "comme la voiture" or "like the superhero." Thankfully, neither were the inspiration for me, and I'm the oldest person I personally know with my name. There were two others in my town soon afterward though.

All too often when I read these stories, I wish we could leave these states to their own devices, to implode, and not have to deal with it. If only it were feasible to build a wall around them to prevent their craziness from spreading.

Why do men want to marry someone who hasn't had sex yet? Why would you want to have painful bloody sex on your wedding night? Not to mention she won't know anything about sex (from an experience viewpoint) and thus it will suck.

If women are going to go topless, they are going to get ogled. It happens. I see it here, and it's not a big deal, but in the US, lots of people are prudes and doing anything so brazen will attract attention. It'd be nice to get over it, but I don't think this will be happening anytime soon.
