IDK if OP will read these, but I got a new Outback XT as a rental recently and I was so impressed I’m contemplating buying one. I’ve also had a long history with Subaru and I didn’t think I would ever want a new one again. Their eyesight is phenomenal and it has the same engine as an Ascent so power was surprising.

This is so sad :(

I remember him being one of the first rally cars I ever even saw maybe even in ‘05 at my first 100AW.

I never got the chance to give him a hard time for technically beating him at a race because he DNFed.

I’ll stick to rally instead of snow mobiles I think. Roll cages do serious work sometimes.

How do you get 8,113 lb-ft? Looking at the graph is says roughly 3,500NM.

3,500 NM is 2,581, not 8k.

Have you ran the 100AW before? If not you should try to make it down. It has some of the best stages in the US.

It appears to be down to me. I have tried several times and can’t get the configurator to load.

I don’t have a picture but I can confirm 2 kayaks will fit on a WRX. Mine is old also... Here’s a canoe for reference.

I don’t have any questions about the Durango, but good luck at NEFR! I wish I could make it up there. I might be able to codrive if you ever need someone.

This is an exception to the rule. I may do this too if I think about it.

This is an easy one... I have a list:
1 - Not pay attention at a stop light, miss the green when it first turns green, only go after it turns yellow, then leave me stuck for another cycle :(

2 - Drive slower than traffic in the passing lane. It’s not the “fast lane” its the passing lane. If you are going 5 mph over the

I pulled out a stuck delivery truck with my XT last week in St. Louis. I should have gotten pictures but I just wanted to get him out of the way so traffic could get moving. Snow tires are a huge help.

Why don’t we get more wallpapers? I have saved a bunch of the ones from Jalopnik but they rarely come up anymore. Help me be lazy and not search the rest of the internet LOL

I missed the callout for this :( I have been codriving for a while and we get air on the reg. Photographic proof attached :)

I’m not sure it qualifies as “surprising” because it’s, well, a fast Honda... When don’t they age well? But I’m still surprised at how many 3rd gen Integras still catch my eye. A Type-R probably doesn’t qualify as “normal” either, but they have gone up in price drastically.

Well sounds like we are going to get new rotary engines. Maybe that means we can have hope for this too?

One, two, Elon’s coming for you. Three, four, don’t taunt him anymore...

Something looked familiar in that article...

I wish more companies would adopt that philosophy: “There have to be hero cars.”

I’m excited to see the production version once they are done. It’s awesome to see that they aren’t specifically looking for the fastest possible lap time and are instead more focused on driver experience. That being said I’m bummed there

Is the standard V8 also TT? Because if not and adding two turbos to a 4.2V8 and only netting 50hp seems low...

Well said...

As much as I would hate having a CVT I would probably be in a showroom to figure out which options I want as soon as these came stateside. If they decided to do a manual I would be waiting before they got here.
