Which is EXACTLY what these athletes should do, if they feel the deal they’ve been offered by colleges to play sports is not “fair”.

If they can’t afford college out if pocket, should they give up on getting a degree? This is a hell of a lot more complex than “dont like it, leave”.

Again - if its a bad deal, quit. No one is forcing them into it, and there are literally millions who would gladly step in to replace them.

Nothing in my original comment suggested that these kids signed on for abuse of any kind. However, they DID agree to play sports in return for college tuition, room, board, books, free tutoring, free use of training facilities, free clothing, medical care, media exposure, etc. - a deal most ANY teen would gladly…
