As a proud alum and fan of one of the three schools w/hats on the table, it always amazes me that adults get so wrapped up in where a teenager is going to go to college. Grown men and women spend their days analyzing the shit out of this stuff, agonizing over every stutter and flip.
They all have that orange look going on, and they’re always wearing some get-up in which the plunging neckline meets the rising hemline somewhere around their hang-downs ... wasn’t Crowley the bloviator who was kicked off McLaughlin’s panel, who always referred to Obama as “Obomber” in her “columns”?
It’s an awkward move at best, and when coupled with his proven penchant for wandering feet it leaves little to question (in my opinion).
Have to agree w/Boeheim, here. Tourney is life.
Agreed. A couple of male coworkers share a small office, and they’ve always got their vaping apparatus strewn all over their desks. Stick your head in and all you get is a sense of a sickly-sweet, sputummy haze ... disgusting.
Someone hep a brutha out ... don’t most of the local fanbases of these lower-level soccer (“football”, futbol, ...) clubs have favorite EPL teams they pull for? Don’t really know the culture on the ground over there, so Imma axing.
Lowest common denominator, right here. Couldn’t pay me enough to attend an NFL game.
Don’t know about UDF - I’ve never considered UDF as much more than a convenience store. Frankly, I think Skyline gets a bad rap. It’s a love/hate thing; I imagine a lot of the kick back from Ohioans is that Deadspin/non-Ohioans lazily consider Skyline as Ohio’s go-to signature food, when in reality it is merely a…
I’m sure you have an excellent point. Let me know when you’ve located it ...
Completely different animal - don’t go in expecting something similar to a chili. As was noted above, it’s more a spicy - not necessarily hot - meat sauce.
It would be like trying to curry favor with Pittsburghers by referencing Geno’s cheesesteak sammiches. If course, all that assumes Pittsburghers can read ...

Please note that Ohio is a culturally rich and diverse state. And while Skyline Chili might be a beloved foodstuff in the greater Cincinnati area, it’s barely an afterthought in Columbus. Once you’ve trekked clear up north to Cleveland, it’s nothing more than a source of amusement.
Gonna get interesting, now that they’re finally getting into the meat of their divisional play. Tough Metro back-to-back this weekend - both at home, though. Right back on that horse ...
No, it wasn’t. Two of the Penguins’ wins were in OT during that ‘92/93 streak.
... and with the new format, the stronger Metro teams will knock each other out the first two rounds, while the Habs get a cushy first/second round.

I remember looking at the schedule when it was first released, thinking it was SO Jacket-like that they would get their five-game break two games into the season, while also playing a league-leading 19 - 19!!! - back-to-backs ... but what a time to be alive!
