I know there are plenty of examples of good step parents out there, but between stories like this and my own personal experience with stepfathers, have to admit it scares the crap out of me. :/

So frustrating that in a global economy, and thanks to the power of the internet, this poor harassed woman has no way of getting this site taken down, short of taking it to fucking Icelandic court. :(

And here is what Orange Website says in their TOS regarding content acceptability:

Looks like the website is hosted by Orange Website:

Anyone have any idea of how to figure out who hosts it, and start a campaign against them?

They don’t seem to think that the damage he’s doing right now is real; just that he could cause “real” damage to her if he tried going to where she lives. In this (WRONG WRONG WRONG) way of thinking, it might be just fine for him to be an ass, as long as he’s not doing it from somewhere where he could physically

Something something uncanny valley

Wait - latinx, AND gay? I’m going to have to go think about that one for a bit. How???? /s

Not to mention, what happens when the police do show up, and you, the good guy with a gun, are standing there holding your gun, surrounded by victims? You have to see how complicated this gets. *eyeroll*

There are all kinds of statistics and horrifying examples showing what a bad idea the good-guy-with-a-gun can be. A guy with a gun who stopped to help a carjacking suspect, and accidentally shot him in the head. Statistics of active shooter situations just getting worse when there’s a gun - they can stand in a static

This has been circulating among some of my family members on Facebook, and it’s... something. I just can’t believe people think this way.

Stop spewing that bullshit. Not all muslims are violently homophobic. You aren’t solving anything, and you should be ashamed of yourself for painting in such broad strokes.

Neglecting to state that this was targeting the LGBT community ignores the impact that it has on that specific community. While the victims were many things other than (in some cases) queer, they were targeted for their queerness. Ignoring that fact allows plenty of other people to make this fit their own narrative.

Eww, I didn’t know that. I also didn’t know it was possible for me to feel worse thinking about him than I already did. :(

I am thinking about these things and wondering if I should just throw my hands up and say men are monsters at their core and women are victims.

We didn’t decide that she was the victim and he was the aggressor based on their genders. We did it based on the fact that she was unconscious, and he was humping away - and then he ran when he was caught. Do you think you could seriously make an argument that he was the one who was raped?

I, for one, feel like I deserve a fucking parade for getting through an entire decade of heavy drinking without raping even one drunk girl. /s

I’m trying to remember the names of people in my 4th grade class right now, just to put it into perspective, and can’t remember a single one, outside of a couple people I’ve stayed in touch with. Did the dude go trawling through grade school year books to come up with his alias (ew ew ew), or has he been thinking

Might need to prove personal damages? idk

I’m not arguing that I have a choice in my sexuality; but that I have a choice when it comes to the kinds of relationships I can have. Theoretically, it would be possible for me to be straight-presenting and firmly closeted for my whole life, without denying myself the opportunity for a satisfying relationship. If
