yes, but then why did the author not once mention her japanese heritage as well? why is it only black girl magic that gets highlighted, when she embraces all aspects of her heritage?
Clicked through to the full piece because I hate myself, apparently. Couldn’t help but notice that one of their pics showed off her WILDLY untanned feet in comparison to her vigorously spray-tanned legs and I just can’t. Like, GIRL. YOU GOT SO MUCH MONEY BUT YOU CAN’T EVEN PUT SOME DAMN PRODUCT ON YOUR FEET? GODDAMN.
A sham? LOL you gotta be faking that you’re worth something to be exposed as a sham, honey. You never even tried to hide that you’re trash.
interesting. gonna go ahead and disregard anything you say about how people should be treated.
This is the correct take. Tissues, keys, gum, snacks if you’re feeling spicy... The wondrous possibilities of fanny packs/a future where functional clothing for women are widespread like my legs on the metro!
I live in DC and had to ride the train with multiple groups of corn-fed, washed-up potatoes masquerading as children on “pro-life” school trips. All of the school trip participants I saw were boys... guess they think educating women ain’t a good look for them
Legally, it is all good. There are 3-4 conditions to prove in order to successfully sue for defamation, and this situation just doesn’t meet them. The criteria are pretty easy to look up, if you’re interested. Dehumanizing someone by mistaking them for someone else, while shitty, just isn’t a prosecutable crime and…
ok so it can be essentially overturned, but you’re whining that we’re worrying unreasonably because it won’t be technically overturned? cool, hope that was a fun exercise for you.
oh i see now. you are racist trash. regret trying to talk to you. have a good one.
excuse me, but have you even read the root’s coverage on kelly? you’re on something if you think they’d immediately hop to defending him. funny that you name harriot specifically. harriot writes some aggressive stuff sometimes, but he’s not about to dismiss allegations of child molestation just because the perpetrator…
Me and my whole family are immigrants, so I feel this. I relate to the responses I’ve read about feeling fatigue to explain your culture. There’s a special kind of otherness that white people make you feel when they scrunch up their face to ask for the fucking millionth time, “[Ew] What’s that?”
I really came around on her during the Kavanaugh hearings. Didn’t know a ton about her before that, and honestly, would still like to know more about her policy positions (though she’ll certainly talk about them more if/when she runs, and I could be less of a bum and go look them up myself).
But man, as a person, this w…
I’m a gentrifier, even though I’m not white. I generally mind my own business, but I really don’t know what to do when someone in the neighborhood starts messing with me. I moved to the neighborhood to be closer to the DC government office I work for, but there’s a homeless dude who likes to scream racial epithets and…
Y’all still paying for lives out here???? Rewind the time on your phone, my friends. Tis revolutionary.
Thanks, boo. Hope you’re doing better as well!
Exactly.
The DC metro is really deep underground. Like really deep. We have some of the longest escalators in the world. That being said, DC residents really stick to the right-left lane rule on them: stand on the right, walk on the left.
YAAAS for their men’s line! This makes me sad as someone who is dating a umm.. VERY short man. Gap and Banana are a few of the only mainstream clothing stores that carry 28x28 men’s pants.
Please educate yourself and hush.
