Oh, I'm not doing that in the least. I'm just saying that I'm sick of people blaming gays for the problem of pedophilia in the Catholic Church.

It depends on the local counsel, though. The locals here pretty much ignore the ban.

It does if those beliefs are discriminatory.

Uh, no. You really have a problem with vocabulary.

Let me do a little quoting here:

You're comparing apples and oranges. Gay men leading boy scouts is comparable to lesbians leading girl scouts.

As soon as the straight community does the same.

OMG. I am so sick of ignorant asses whipping this shit out. What made the situation with the Catholic Church so fucking horrifying wasn't because they were gay- many of those molesters were straight men. What made it horrifying was that they were entrusted to be the most moral people and to act as a conduit between

I know you're trying to be fair and funny, but my mom was a Den mother for years. If these boys can learn to listen to their mothers at home, there is no reason why they can't learn how to tie a knot with one.

It is so exhausting reading about how hard straight, white guys have it.

Why are you comparing a gay men leading a boy scout troop to a straight man leading a girl scout troop?

Exactly! And we have a right to question and criticize one receiving a shitload of state and federal funding while discriminating.

Oh, uh, yeah. You're asking a dumb question and then following up with a terrible conclusion. The equivalent isn't a man taking out a bunch of teenage girls, it's a lesbian taking out a bunch of teenage girls (answer: yes). Next up, you're saying that all men must look at 14-16 year olds and feel a need to fuck them.

Right. Just brave enough to rub two sticks together, not brave enough to question why they can't "rub two sticks together".

Yeahhhh, except they take money from the federal government. Lots and lots of money.

If the Boy Scouts want to raise strong, proud men, they should stop acting like a bunch of cowards. I know the parents of a few scouts in the northeast and their troops flat out ignore the gay bans and are vocal about it to parents. That's bravery.

"... do we not ask the follow up question, "Umm... then why?"

Well, yeah, but they are also counting the random Rose appearances. IMDB counts how many time the actor, as that character, has appeared in the series.

"It's also interesting to see how Matt Smith almost spent as much time in the role as David Tennant, given that Tennant still feels like the most prevalent nu-Doctor by far."

It's so hard to watch. McGann is so great as the Doctor, but everything else (save McCoy, who thought his Doctor should have had a lot less screen time) was awful. Eric Roberts is never great in anything, but he was particularly bad as The Master.
