I feel bad for anyone living in the UK that is above a US14. There is literally nothing cute for them to buy in any stores. They all cut off at UK18.

“He also said some of his best friends were African American,”

No, he’s topping the polls because of name recognition and because a lot of people like him and like his politics. Just because you don’t doesn’t mean he isn’t popular among a lot of democrats.

Is he actually reconsidering his long-standing policy of “I can touch women whenever I want regardless of whether I know them ot whether they want me to because I’m a Powerful Yet Genial Old Man”?

I feel the same way about brain surgeons. Values are definitely better than experience.

The GMG sites are the only ones I’ll whitelist because I believe in their content so much. It would be cool if Univision would sell the sites to someone who would manage them better... anyone know if Nick Denton is looking to buy?

Sadly, it’s not likely to change any time soon. It would require a federal law and the only thing the government has done since Telecom 96 is continue to destroy media in this country.

“But the band briefly reunited—this time with The Cure’s Robert Smith newly onboard as guitarist—to record “Dear Prudence,” and unexpectedly scored its biggest hit ever.”

“Every Breath You Take” is a song about stalking someone and it was #1. What, exactly, is your definitely of, “dark”?

Clearly you’ve never listened to Simple Minds’ early catalog.

there are probably a few things you half-remember

Then that is what she should have said. You are bending over backwards in all of these threads trying to defend what she said with your interpretation of what you *think* she said. She had some good stuff in that statement, but she also had some problematic stuff in it, too. It’s okay to both praise her and hope she

It’s impressive how you just overgeneralized a whole bunch of women because you assumed they were going to overgeneralize a celebrity. Congratulations, that’s some tone deaf bullshit on your part.

My only concern about this conversation is that it’s directed at a group of white women who overwhelmingly support racial equality. Going to the March wasn’t just about reproductive and financial equality, it was as much, if not more, about racial equality for a lot of us.

When I was a teenager in the 80's, the 50's were hot again. Next, the late 60's early 70's came back. After that, weirdly, was some 40's stuff. After I endured high waisted pants for a bit, enough time had passed for the 80's to come in! Then, fashion took a big loop back around: the 50's! 60's! 70's! 80's! Now enough

I was looking forward to this, but fuck it. This crap pisses me off:

Oh! How exciting! The Bernie Bros are still out in force!

He didn’t start primarily working in Hollywood until the late 90s.

I, too, am a green olive 40-something. I look back at all of my pictures from my teens and 20's and every single time I’m wearing make up in them, I look like a geisha wannabe. It matched in person, but introduce a flash, and my face looked ridiculous.

I understand your argument and I want to agree with you, but Jenner supports politicians that are actively destructive to trans people. It’s very difficult to be trust her motives because of that.
