Yeah, he’s right to say that those let you add your str, but should have been clearer that anyone can attempt it with no modifier normally. Then again, he was very much put on the spot with a very specific 5e rules question while chatting about more general topics. That is the knds of thing which will happen to any… Read more
The New Mutants as an ‘80s teen movie sounds great! Very close to the early versions of the characters, watching Magnum P.I. when they’re not fighting evil mutants. The fun thing about MCU Spidey is the way that they are teen comedies that just happen to be about a superhero. Read more
Between white guy Sunspot and Storm acting as “a sadistic jailer,” I’m increasingly convinced that Boone never actually read a New Mutants story, or any X-Men comics for that matter. Read more
Here too, the intervention of any police was largely non-existent. Though they had days of warning that a hate group was coming to Kalamazoo, the reporter on the scene, Samuel J. Robinson, noted that cops were no where to be found when the violence erupted between the two groups. Read more

Rivaled only by "Rise of Skywalker." I'm not a JJ Abrams hater, but he has made some real clunkers.
One of the ways that you can tell screenwriters have gotten dumber over the years, in the sense that they know only movies and TV shows, is the bit in the 2009 Star Trek where Kirk meets McCoy for the first time and McCoy tells him that he’s just been through a devastating divorce, adding that his wife left him only… Read more
