No one is forcing you think about any of this.  You didn’t even have to click on the link to the story.

Aye, it was basically 2000AD plus Strontium Dog after not very long.

Changes his name from Pugh to Levi to get roles...then watches Florence Pugh get an Academy award nomination and star in Marvel projects.

In whose Dracula?

robin williams did some really uncomfortable roles and was fantastic; i imagine tom hanks could do the same.

This was nowhere more apparent than in the spin-off film Puss In Boots, an exceedingly ugly and unfunny romp that is best left as a forgotten footnote of Dreamworks’ animated output.

Blockbuster. What is dead may remain dead.

Saw the first episode. Switch over to something else immediately. I’m not feeling it. The joke, the quirks... Nothing.

I can forgive a good bit about Man of Steel, but that really was the worst take on Jonathan Kent ever.

I like RR, and I like Thomas Lennon, but I’m absolutely not going to press “play” on this video.

Fuck off for making Random Roles into a video feature.

I have a similar problem: directors won’t trust me with the script because they are afraid I will shred it into nesting material.

That reminds me of when 101.1 FM radio station changed their name to JACK FM. It only lasted a year or 2.

One of the US over the air channels is called TBD. It was a placeholder until they couldn’t actually come up with a name.

It’s probably my age, but Rebecca was always more interesting and fun than Diane to me.

It’s not really a show that’s about plot, necessarily. The magical realism and general heightened reality aspects make it, at least for me, a show that’s more about vibes than anything else. And there are only 12 episodes, most of which are wonderfully weird and occasionally hilarious, so I’d say go for it.

A lot of things change rapidly in Season 2, and there’s certainly moments in the season finale that set up Season 3, but several big conflicts of the season are wrapped up in the climax of the season.

It brings the story of the season to a conclusion. It didn’t seem like they were aiming for it to be the ending, but it’s good enough I think this show will be on lists of weird gems for a long time.

You can’t really trust the AV Club anymore on pop culture/media pre-1990 or so. That was solidified by the “Best Thanksgiving TV Episodes” article last week that had a non-Thanksgiving Office episode, yet didn’t include WKRP, Cheers, or Bob Newhart.

This Ghost of Christmases past absolutely loved the song and dance from this Dickens of a pleaser! “A Christmas Carol” hasn’t felt this fresh since George C. Scott put on a stocking cap and gave David Warner’s Bob Cratchett a good kick in the chestnuts - the poor galoot! Will Farrell is pure comedy and Ryan Reynolds
