Some more wonderful opportunities to sully the legacy of two original and terrific films.

Like we need another superhero show on TV.

“I’ve seen things you people...probably would believe, to be fair, because we evidently haven’t had any new ideas for 40 years. Attack ships on fire off the - wait, come back! You’ll never guess who the replicant is this time! ... Huh, good guess.”

I’m sure he’s a good boy.

Fair enough. Better something weird than some treacly bullshit like Crash or Green Book.

The Shape of Water is going to go down in history as one of the most baffling Oscar wins in film history.  Like, aren’t we already embarrassed?

When I saw the headline I actually thought this was going to be a story about him helping an actress who didn’t want to be treated like a piece of meat, but then I read the story and realized how dumb I was to think that would happen and I laughed and laughed and laughed...

That’s a pretty good description of Thor 2 as well. Lots of great moments but it’s like jigsaw pieces from different puzzles cut from the same die.

“it’s one of only two or three really good scenes in that entire movie” - No, Age of Ultron is jam packed with really good scenes; they just don’t cohere into an overall single story all that well.

Now playing

Lethal Weapon 5? I believe the next entry in the series is number 7.

PW’s Big Adventure wasn’t considered because, after all, it’s good. a classic, in fact.

I would like to inform everyone that within the first ten issues of John Byrne’s She-Hulk run, Jennifer ended up in space, met two different trucker-themed superheroes (One boar-themed and another with a Space Truck), and fought Xemnu the Living Hulk.

That's what I know you from!

David Icke is on Gaia. He’s the originator of the “Jews I mean Lizard People run the world” conspiracy theory. Whether Lovato knows or wants to admit it, she’s taking money to espouse deeply racist conspiracy theories. Alex Jones doesn’t get a pass from me for doing that; I’m not going to give one to Lovato just

This is a genuinely great and surprising show, and while it is warm & comforting as a lot of reviews of it suggest, it is also honest & unsentimental & its own thing. A show that I expect to gain respect over time as it becomes more appreciated

I thought the Scott Pilgrim cast was noticeably great even before most of their careers just blew up. Baby Driver’s Elgort is a different story, and was a huge weakness in that movie. I just don’t like him much, maybe irrationally so, but others apparently do including Stevie Spielberg. Ansel...he’s so (inexplicably)

This is a weirdly angry response to that post

Remember, SoHo’s in New York! The London area is simply Soho. Picky picky, I know, sorry.

If you want to feel like you’re taking crazy pills when talking to the many people who think it’s delightful in its badness or not actually bad or ironically bad or non-ironically great or whatever it is, yes!

Neither of them are terrible/unwatchable, and actually Hardy makes them both fun enough, but I am absolutely
