This was a fantastic interview that I really enjoyed reading. I have to confess to struggling with Grant in the early 2000s and felt his performances were a little repetitive, but his work in the last decade has shown just how much range he is, and I now look forward to whatever he’s doing next a great deal.

I saw the stage version when they released it on youtube near the start of the pandemic and really loved it, but does anyone know if the film version is that different? I heard it had one extra song but if it’s only that I’m not sure I’ll bother with it, at least not while it’s so fresh in my mind (plus I’m quietly

My vote would go to Nathan Fielder, but then “The Emmy award winning Nathan For You” just sounds wrong somewhat weirdly, like it’s much better than that would ever suggest.

Noble’s a vaguely well known comedian in the UK too (or at least used to be) so I’m surprised as well.

This is what happens when you encounter Patrick Stewart in the wild -

The whole thing about Poppy hating singing in public made me laugh a lot, if only because Charlotte’s a great singer and I’m a huge fan of her music:

I’ll miss this column a lot Mike, especially as on Sunday’s there’s little new content on the sites I visit and this was always a really fun read, so thank you for all the time and effort you put in to it and all the best for the future.

I know it’s a couple of years old now but I’m just getting in to Sion Sono’s Tokyo Vampire Hotel and admiring it’s all round insanity and weirdness.

I hadn’t but after looking it up on Wikipedia it sounds fascinating, so thanks for the recommendation.

Ah man, I love Lance Reddick so now I’m going to have watch this even though I’m bored senseless of zombie shite, One Cut Of The Dead was the last time I enjoyed anything related to the genre and that wasn’t exactly your standard undead fare.

It’s frustrating, I watched all of that and enjoyed it a lot, whereas after one episode of Die Hart I couldn’t be bothered with it any longer.

I in no way wish to mock those working for Amazon, or even suggest for a second that it isn’t a completely miserable experience, but when I badly broke my leg and was in hospital the one plus point was that when I woke up in the middle of the night and needed to urinate I didn’t have to get out of bed and could do so

I just came here to say that, Death looks nothing like Tori as anyone who’d even seen a single image of the character would know, but Delirium was clearly based on her.

I hated Pig In The City when I saw it at the cinema as I was expecting another gentle, slow paced romp, and the opposite applied, though when I rewatched it earlier this year without any expectations I loved it to pieces, and now it’s one of my all time favourite films.

I’m a big fan of Norris’s, at least one of his show’s is available on NextUp, and another used to be up on Youtube for free, and the were some of the oddest but sweetest comedy I saw online last year.

I often struggle with filmed versions of plays too, I go to the theatre a fair amount as I write for a site that gets free tickets, but watching a play on tv is rarely a pleasure and I can’t quite explain why other than that the intensity of being there in the flesh is missing. It’s not always the case either, the

I’m not the world’s biggest Eurovision fan but this morning I watched a couple of videos that a friend recommended, including the pretty decent Italian winning effort, but then I watched the British entry, and well, I’m sure James Newman’s a nice guy and if I heard him sing it in a pub I’d probably think it was okay,

A delightful family adventure, The Kid Who Would Be King” - That’s not how I remember it, and I was gutted as I love Joe (and Adam) ever since the days of The Adam And Joe Show, but I thought TKWWBK had very little merit and was very disappointing overall.
