I agree, if Iannucci was to turn it in to an anthology show with the same cast but in a completely different setting I’d be much happier. Especially if he fired Josh Gad too, who I want to like, but who has ruined so many movies and tv shows now that I doubt I ever will.

Quite, about twenty years ago when I was young and stupid I was involved in a Pizza Hut eating competition and managed 17 slices in one sitting (losing to a friend who ate 22). Admittedly we then spent the rest of the afternoon feeling fucking horrible, but I could have easily eaten a further 23 slices across the next

Likewise, and after a brief look at the photo without paying much attention to it I presumed he was having a casual meal while bleeding heavily from his arm.

I’d have gone for Harley Quinn: Ex-Batman Villain: And No, Jared Leto Isn’t In This, We Promise.”

At least The Handmaid’s Tale offers up a slither of hope (depending on your take on the ending, I guess) whereas there’s no such thing in Jude’s world.

My vote would go to Thomas Hardy’s Jude The Obscure, which I had to study at both college and university, and dear god is it relentlessly depressing from start to finish, a ridiculously long account of horrendous things happening to a person whose life is appallingly miserable. The part where Arabella throws a pig’s

That reminds me of “It Must Be Love” by Madness, which suffers from the same issue.

Once when very drunk I thought I’d give the Crash Test Dummies “Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm” a shot, and jesus, that’s a dull, one note song that goes on and on and on, and by the end the audience were giving me murderous looks.

This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen on the AV Club, and I’ve read articles by Sam Barsanti.

This really is a shitty, and far too brief, obituary, the great man deserved much more than what’s written above.

I’ve read quite a few mixed reviews of this (with the one on the BBC site calling it an “Astronomic disaster”) but I was quite fond of it, it’s not perfect and definitely needs to up it’s game, but there’s enough going on here to suggest it could become something very special, for anyone interested a full review is

I wasn’t sure initially but by the end of the trailer I was won over. I just hope they make the ending a little more substantial and satisfying as I was disappointed by it in the comics, though that might partially be because of the really long wait for those final few issues.

I’m hoping it’s relating to the next season of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, and soon the graffiti will be amended to “Dennis Is A Penis Man”.

I saw Cats on the London stage back in the late eighties and was bored to pieces, but watched the film a couple of days ago and laughed an enormous amount (though there’s still a few dull parts, admittedly) so if anything I think it’s an improvement.

I’m just a casual thriller / mystery fan so get most of my pleasure trying to guess who’s guilty, but I do understand that different people get different things from the film.

Basically what kirenaj1971 said. To film fans of course they’re just as well known, but ask the average occasional cinema goer in their twenties which of those names means anything to them and chances are Chris Evans would be the only one they’re aware of.

True, I guess I was just using the same phrasing as the article does.

Well call me crazy but when I’m watching a murder mystery, trying to work out who the killer is is all part of the fun.
