Well that’s not true, as she was in Avengers: Age Of Ultron. And even if you don’t include that, the figure (which I saw was taken from Box Office Mojo) only includes 23 of her films, and she has 62 credits in total.

This is the most wrong thing I’ve ever seen on The AV Club, and I’ve been coming here since the Leonard Pierce era!

Exactly. It’s also not very good, I love the Morrison run on Doom Patrol an enormous amount but with Way a lot of the time it feels like he’s being weird for the sake of being weird and there’s no real depth to the series. I’ve read all of the sixties comics, the Kupperberg run, Rachel Pollack’s stint, and Keith

She’s supposedly retired from acting, though I have a theory that she only did that because she saw the quality of the Arrested Development Season 5 scripts and needed a way to only appear in a tiny amount of it, and that she’ll be back soon. I hope so anyway as she really is a great actress.

The Day Shall Come - it’s good...but it’s only good. Perhaps if it had been directed by Ron Howard it’d get more praise but this is Chris Morris we’re talking about, and his first new project in nine years, and it just doesn’t live up to either expectations or comparisons with his previous work. It’s certainly a film

I know what you mean about Jam, I liked it when I watched it but I’ve no urge to go back to it, possibly because it’s so dark, but also because I’m fonder of the radio series.

And I’ve heard the clearance / legal issues rumour as well but it wasn’t what Cummings said at the Q&A, and if they can screen it at cinemas

I’ve seen that film (which is called Oxide Ghosts, and is 90 minutes long) as well as a Q&A with the director, Michael Cummings. It’s very funny stuff yet you can see why the material didn’t make the final edit, and the only reason it’s not been released is that Morris and Cummings want to have the screenings as a

It really is a poor review, mainly as all of the complaints are concerns about what might happen in future episodes, rather than reviewing what actually did happen. And given those involved, and just how good it’s been so far, the lack of faith really is irritating.

I love him to pieces and have done ever since I stumbled upon his Radio 1 show and was briefly tricked in to thinking a major politician had died. Apparently the reason there was such a long gap between this and Four Lions is that he was working on another film that didn’t end up being made, but I do hope we don’t

Given the insane amount of hype I presumed all the Marvel series would begin airing within the first 12 months, I’m genuinely surprised at how weak the line up is and can happily wait until 2021 before getting it.

I would have thought that it was obviously going to be Ferrell as Scrooge and Reynolds as Tiny Tim.

Heh, I read about five of his books before realising I’d only actually enjoyed one, tolerated two, and really got bored senseless by the other two. He has some interesting ideas but his writing style is ridiculously repetitive, and after Diary I quit him for good.

It really is astonishingly good, and because Amazon are evil I don’t feel guilty for torrenting it for once!

Because the whole structure of the show demands that it’s animated, at least unless they had a budget of a couple of hundred million dollars.

I live in London so it’s an occurrence which is yet to happen.

I live in London so it’s an occurrence which is yet to happen.

That is actually the one and only line which still makes me smile.

It’s Better Off Dead for me. I discovered it on video back in the eighties and absolutely loved it, paid a ridiculous amount for an ex-rental version of it, and ridiculously idiotically used to go around saying I could never fall in love with a woman who didn’t find it funny. But I’ve watched it an insane amount over
