I was 15, but annoyingly missed it by a year as the first Oscar’s I watched was in 1990, and a drab affair that was too.

Corporate as well, plus pretty much everything Adult Swim does.

It’s not as good as the very best of the show but it’s been pretty entertaining stuff and definitely worth checking out.

I really enjoyed it this week, there was the odd dodgy joke (Bart and Lisa as cactuses didn’t really work) but overall it was pretty strong stuff and I’m starting to think this season could be the best since the twelfth. “The cries trigger Lydia’s memories of what really happened as a kid; she realizes it was her mother, not her father, who was always the cruel one” - So is Woody Allen secretly writing for the show now?

Both American Dad and Jon Glaser Loves Gear are on tonight and the wild card is The Bachelor? The AV Club is actively trolling it’s readership now.

I watched the first episode of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia when it aired, didn’t like it, then twelve years passed until a friend suggested I give it another go, watched three episodes of season 12 and liked it a lot, went back to season 3 (due to said friend’s advice), watched and fell in love with the show and

I’ve seen this and enjoyed it a lot, and I wasn’t expecting to as the Titans episode was weak. I’m a huge fan of the Morrison run, it’s one of my all time favourite comics series and though it’s not quite up there with that it’s impressive for a tv show, and it looks great too.

Weekly, I think there’s 15 episodes all in all.

I thought the Chief was awful in the Titans episode so I’m so glad they’ve recast him, especially as Dalton’s so good in it.

I really liked Wild Wild West. Admittedly I saw it during my stoner period but it has a very over the top Kenneth Branagh, ridiculously daft mechanical spiders and Salma Hayek being all kinds of appealing and it made for a fun throwaway ride.

I could do it under 30 seconds - “Olivia Colman didn’t win for The Favourite? Screw you guys, I’m going home”.

I always assumed that Pike was a stopgap until they found a more suitable Captain, plus he was always going to return to the Enterprise at some point so I’m not surprised by the news at all. It’s definitely a shame though, he’s one of the few things I like about the series.

My words “came out the wrong way” as well when I said Avi Lerner was a c*** with his own history of sexual abuse which is horribly disturbing, and that it’s a shame he hasn’t been fired too, because I definitely didn’t mean anything libellous by them, honest.

Likewise, I’m glad we got Matt after David but as much as I like Capaldi they didn’t get a grip on his character until they third series and I’d have been ecstatic if Olivia had been cast instead of him.

Steven Moffat recently said in an interview that he regrets wasting Olivia in such a role, but as Chris Chibnall has already worked with her hopefully he wouldn’t do the same thing, and as mentioned elsewhere in the comments there’s precedent for actors to appear once but then come back in a much bigger role (which I

Dear God No” and “Jesus Christ Man You’ve Escaped Why Would You Even Consider Returning No”.

Nah, then she couldn’t take over from Jodie when she leaves and that must happen or I’ll cry for several years. Maybe decades.

Yeah, Delocated’s easily in my top 5 favourite comedy series, I know a lot of people who have watched it but mainly because I bought a gun and forced them to do so (or lent them my dvds, it was one or the other).
