I’m hoping The Deuce might help fill the gap partially, the pilot was okay at least and it’ll hopefully develop in to something interesting.

Everything died in the kinja file. :(
There’s something about the third season where it feels like the cast as a whole are having a huge amount of fun, and that’s really infectious. Plus it’s the year that Charlie becomes increasingly disturbing whilst still being strangely lovable, and his chemistry with Danny DeVito is one of my favourite things about…
It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia - I watched the pilot and thought it was okay, but a bit bland and cheaply shot, and whilst I didn’t strongly dislike it I had no urge to watch any more. Cut to when season 12 was airing and a friend wouldn’t stop ranting about how good it was, and he suggested watching it from season…
It’s pretty damn poor, isn’t it? No descriptions of what half the shows are either, which when they’re new is pure laziness.
I too love Enlightened to pieces, it’s one of those shows so few people I know watched which frustrates no end. Then again I did say it was from the writer of Chuck and Buck (which I personally also love!) which put a few off.
Ha, I had the same reaction and had to check imdb in case it was a typo.
Ditto, that’s hugely appreciated.
I’m still campaigning for it to be recognised as one 18 hour long movie so that it can win all the Oscars. ALL OF THEM.
I’m shocked and amazed too. Along with Review, which as the article pointed out was a glaring omission, and I think Andy Daly should have got a nomination for Best Actor too.
I know how you feel. I was only an occasional poster but I always read the comments, but now when it comes to newswire pieces they often made me wince.
That’s not true though, Kirkman has made it pretty clear that it was Louis CK - and that they’ve since discussed the matter - http://flavorwire.com/533257/jen-kirkman-clarifies-comments-that-may-or-may-not-have-been-about-louis-c-k
Not according to one of the executive producers on a recent reddit ama: https://www.reddit.com/r/twinpeaks/comments/6zb65w/im_sabrina_sutherland_executive_producer_of_twin/
Gah, I read this last week, I was hoping for a new theory that offered a less bleak interpretation.
I think I know the plot point you mean and it confused me no end, especially as it was such a disturbing incident and then all but completely forgotten about afterwards, which felt very strange...
I think the show has done a superb job when it comes to the villains in Preacher, but I’m still not happy about the way they’re portraying Jesse. He was by no means perfect in the comics, which was a deliberate decision by Ennis, but I really struggle to like him in the series and have issues with how he treats Tulip,…
They should keep doing these for years, akin to the Big Finish Doctor Who range.
I’m normally quite fond of the show but I thought this was a pretty poor one. It was obviously a cheap bottle episode but given the ending to last week’s episode everyone recovered ridiculously quickly (even for this show) and there was only one (pretty small) hybrid on display this week. Plus they lost Tokyo and…
Seven comments is a considered a big success in this post Kinja world. :(
So we should just ignore that specific episode of One Mississippi?
