“Canon” is always a loose thing with any of those “V Predator” comics.  I mean the Predator fought everyone back in the day.  It’s the basis of my entire thesis about how Danny Glover could fight Batman and win.  

Oh man Kevin Kline would have been fucking amazing in that movie.

It’s the standard now. I think they make the price difference between the rental and purchase so small so that people* just shrug and say might as well own it for an extra $5.

It was hugely emotional at the time, but sadness and tragedy have their part in drama - otherwise the drama isn’t very dramatic. I’m glad to see her back but I never thought it needed “fixing”.

I might be alone here but I rank Hawkeye as a close 2nd to Loki as the best Disney Plus show. The Christmas setting and just overall fun of the show makes it fairly rewatchable. 

I kind of can’t believe they didn’t already have assurances there’d be a third season with the way they ended the second. If that’s how the whole thing had finished, it would have been beyond horrible.

Can’t exist soon enough.

I’m in the camp that TLJ was top-shelf Star Wars, so from my perspective it was the total WTF plotting of RoS that wrecked it. TFA was, as noted above, pretty much a remake of the original but it WAS entertaining.  2/3 of a good series is better than we got from the prequels. 

Damn you nailed all those real people who absolutely go up to people and say “you’re an ignorant moron for watching this crap, and Scorsese says so” all the dang time.

I graduated high school in ‘01 and college in ‘05, mention of those earlier Adult Swim shows such as Space Ghost and Sea Lab really hit at a special place in my memories. They were weird in a way that didn’t feel like they were trying too hard, and I spent a lot of late nights watching them at the time. I also recall…

Funny, Midnight Mass is the only one I liked so far and it was really good. And I am not Christian.

I am SO GODDAMN OUTRAGED that I basically agree with most of this and don’t have a chance to write a sarcastic spittle-flecked list of all my problems with it.
