Why would you have to play it again when it “actually” comes out? It seems like the content they’re working on is new areas, a few new Olympians, and general polish. None of that will invalidate your progress or force you to start over. It’ll just give you more to do.

I have no idea when it’ll be “officially” released, but like the article said, other than a few places it feels pretty dang complete right now. There’s a ton of content and all of it is really good and feels really polished.

OK, so they weren’t *just* schlubby, blue collar guys, but they also weren’t *not* schlubby, blue collar guys.

Fair point, but they washed out of academia and ended up in a schlubby, blue collar career as glorified exterminators. Sure, they were exterminating ghosts, but my point is just that the tone of the original Ghostbusters doesn’t seem at all compatible with the recent entries in the series.

YES. The “holy text” thing was such a terrible decision. It flies in the face of what Ghostbusters was. Those guys shouldn’t be treated like saints. But fans want the creators to respect Ghostbusters, and apparently that translates to treating it with this sappy, reverential tone that doesn’t fit the property at all.

The Star Wars sequels were going great, then Rise of Skywalker happened.

I’m a colon cancer survivor as well. Good luck and take care of yourself. You’ll be past this and living your regular life again before you know it.

So I have to ask a slightly controversial question: is the original X-Men series actually good?

College Humor took a hit, which was bad, but now we have Dropout, which is probably better than College Humor ever was. So it worked out for them in the end.

Here goes my fuzzy memory again, but in the book when they speak Latin isn’t it still written in English but differentiated by the language being really formal and having a lot of thees and thous?

Darth Vader is great, but Anakin? Come on now.

Ah man, I’m probably combining three different characters in my head, but as I recall it was the rival pilot, Rodrigues, who called him Inglés. And I think he was Portuguese.

I don’t have anything all that insightful to say here, but the novel is great and the show looks fantastic. Really looking forward to checking this out. I kind of can’t remember the last time I was looking forward to a show like this.

Are they limiting this tribute album just to what was on Stop Making Sense or are they adding bonus tracks? Because if they’re not adding anything, then those last three songs won’t be on there.

For several years I watched ALL of those shows. And I genuinely enjoyed them, but at some point it did just become too much. It took up too much of my time and some of them had to go.

I dunno, aren’t the later seasons of Lost considered the best ones? Barring maybe the back half of the final season? Four and five are both great, and I think they succeed because they never lose the character focus that made that show work. They’re definitely more plot focused than earlier seasons, but I think they

Yeah, but that doesn’t take away from the fun of Halloween episodes that take place around Halloween and Christmas episodes that take place around Christmas.

I’m with you on the episode count. I don’t think we necessarily need to go back to everything being 22 episodes. I watched every episode of every Arrowverse show for several years and it was a lot to keep up with. The key is just remembering that TV shows are different than movies and they shouldn’t just be treated

Absolutely. Just send your characters on a fun, one-off adventure. If I like them I’ll follow them wherever they go. That’s part of the fun of TV. It doesn’t all have to be arcs and mythology.
