I don't hate those episodes, but I recall finding them pretty disappointing. They had already gone to that well at the end of the Dalton Wilcox episode in a much more satisfying way, and it just seemed like a bit of a rehash.

I have to admit, I had big problems with the whole Stolen Century thing, but the last episode of that arc and the first episode of the finale arc turned me around. I have to go back and listen to those episodes again.

Obviously.

It's almost comically rushed, but I still appreciate that they tried to tie everything up. I introduced my wife to the show a couple of years ago and the ending almost gave her whiplash.

Exactly. They really should have either changed the makeup of the team or the mission, because the two don't really make sense together. Deadshot would not be my first choice for an anti-Superman unit, but if I'm putting together a black ops mission he seems like a pretty solid addition.

OK, so maybe the snark was uncalled for, but it's not about refuting anything. How am I supposed to refute your opinion? You believe something that I find to be bizarre and unreasonable. I'm obviously not going to change your mind, and you certainly haven't convinced me of anything.

OK, you win. You're the best fan. The rest of us are phonies and posers.

You have some serious issues about fandom. Maybe just try liking things without worrying about who likes them the best or most correctly.

It's funny, when I went back to Superman after JL the first thing I thought was that Newbern was a definite upgrade over Daly.

I call myself a baseball fan. We don't have an MLB team nearby, but I go to a couple of minor league games a season. If I travel to a city with a pro team I try to catch a game. I no longer follow the sport the way I did when I was a kid, but I still consider myself a fan.

What's the point of this brand of toxic gatekeeping? And who's insisting that people who enjoy superhero movies but don't read the comics are "equivalent" to you? People are into superheroes right now because the movie studios (mostly Disney/Marvel although they're not the only ones, and hopefully WB/DC have learner

It's certainly not my best work, but I stand by it.

It's an easy mistake to make. They sound really similar. The first time I saw JL I had no idea it wasn't Daly.

Splatty Jenkins, the up and coming director who ends every scene with a pie to the face.

Isn't the currently in development Green Lantern Corps movie being described as "Lethal Weapon in space?" Although I believe it's rumored to revolve around Hal and John, and it's so far out at this point that who knows what the hell it'll look like if it ever actually gets made.

There's so much wrong with Suicide Squad, but first and foremost is the team's mission. If they need to build a team as a last line of defense if Superman crosses a line, why the hell would they put together a group of villains? The whole reason they're comprised entirely of villains is because it gives the US

I can never tell if it's a great line reading or if Simmons is completely phoning it in.

Daly did Superman: The Animated Series but he wasn't in JL/JLU. That was George Newbern.

I LOVE Bale's Batman. The Dark Knight is basically perfect and one of my favorite movies. But Conroy will always be the definitive Batman.

Yeah, how dare those phonies not watch a TV show that's been off the air for a decade that they may have never even heard of. Those people make me sick.
