They saw the best lead performance in television history (there I go hyping it up again), and a pretty gripping drama around him ;-)

Precocious kid is in the first where he dies at the end, and then pops back up in the third.
And I disagree with your disagreement.
I wonder how much your opinion of the ending affects how you read that Afterword, because I enjoyed the ending and didn't find the Afterword bitchy in the slightest.
Don't listen to the negative Nancies and Normans out there. Books 5-7 are all good.
I had the same problem. I used to have the "ba ba ba" from Modest Mouse's "The World At Large" as my ringtone but it just didn't cut through the noise of the day like an actual ring. I would be sitting there listening to the sound of the music for several seconds before realizing that my phone was ringing.
I'm not sure I'd call it a "significant plot detail." It's probably the one thing about the series that has aged really poorly and should be pretty easy to write around.
On the one hand, I totally get the urge to roll your eyes and resist when everyone tells you that something is the best thing ever. On the other hand, it's kind of silly to avoid something that you might enjoy because too many people like it.
Ketchup is pretty gross, but tartar sauce is a whole lot grosser.
Well, the catcher already was her funny sidekick, so they were a third of the way there.
The plane crash victims definitely didn't deserve it. They were just more collateral damage in Walt's path of destruction.
I completely get where you're coming from, but seeing as how Saul is tangled up with Mike and Gus when we first meet him on Breaking Bad this all seems relevant to his journey. And I know I'm probably in the minority around here, but I think the Mike stuff is a lot more interesting than the Jimmy stuff, and I really…
It's been my favorite podcast for years and I'm still madly in love with it. Out of curiosity, what turned you off?
I can't imagine listening to the Flop House and getting annoyed at the tangents. I get annoyed when they spend too much time talking about the movie.
Red Tornado's tutelage, but other than that, yeah. And it's great.
Community lasted five seasons. There are times to get mad at a network for being skittish and canceling a show, but that's usually in the middle of the first season, not five years later.
The only podcast I've heard her on was Never Not Funny and she was pretty delightful on there. Then again, I was already a fan thanks to Crazy Ex-Girlfriend so I have no idea how she'd come across to someone who didn't already think she was the best.
I think my biggest issue with the Pod F Tompkast was the Great Undiscovered Project stuff. The best part about Paul playing all those characters was hearing him bounce off someone like Scott Aukerman, where Scott would deliberately try to drive him in weird directions. I didn't think they worked in a scripted…
None on Patreon, but I subscribe to Never Not Funny and am a Max Fun donor.
I've never heard Spont and it all made sense to me. It might be the funniest episode of Hollywood Handbook ever, and that's saying something.
