You’re right, there’s no way any track or sanctioning body would ever allow a track car to run without a windshield. I’m so STUPID. God, what an idiot. It’s like I never researched this, or discussed it with anyone who knows anything about racing. It’s almost like I wasn’t ever on the board of directors of an SCCA

Seriously? A slide show? Worst use of a slideshow EVER.

the longest engine swap is currently being performed by my husband, who is apparently planning on taking 42 eons to swap the engine in his Fairmont

  • Snow tires are a scam. If your tires have tread, you’ll be fine. What you need is an AWD crossover. Not many people realize that AWD cars also have all wheel steering and all wheel braking, providing an advantage over regular cars which can only use two wheels to stop or turn.

I loved reading this. This is the best fucking article you have ever written. I really hope Davey is reading this from somewhere.

hehe, West Coast boy never learned that you don’t ride I 80 or anything north of in it a month ending in BER. I woould have went south in iowa and caught Route 66 home. The deserts are far more fun when they are not hovering in the 120's. Still I wish I had been you, That setup looks like my old V-Max on the first

Distraction from the fact that this is yet another fastback that is criminally not a hatch.

What Transformers movie was that from?

The thing was my Cimarron was so much fun to ride around Brooklyn that I couldn’t help but take it up for a few days of riding in Vermont.

It won’t really matter whether they’re more expensive than their diesel counterparts unless you’re buying outright and you don’t have the money up-front. With congestion charges and forthcoming bans on diesel vehicles within city centres throughout Europe, in most cases these will be the cheaper option, and soon will

Here’s the current Ranger 4 door vs. the Explorer Sport Trac:

Make a new one of these, you fucking COWARDS

For the same reason the Kenny Roberts had xr100's to train on his dirt track. You got to do things right on a slow bike to keep momentum up-and if you don’t it shows up quick.  My old Yamaha 500 probably didn’t have much more power than that-and it would be plenty for a 1/5 mile.

We get the big Mile Event in Minnesota, other than that it is Club Level stuff. Indoors on concrete in at the State Fair Coliseum is neat in the winter. You have to look for it

Man, slower bikes are more fun. C’mon, it’s so much better riding a Grom at 10/10ths (and 60 mph) than a (I’m old) GSXR at maybe 4/10ths on the street (at 90+). Chasing numbers on bikes is dumb, most people are faster on slower bikes. That said, bring back 250cc 2 strokes goddammit.

That “some time” is the 80's when the regulations were pulled from the stock market, and opened them up to doing anything they want.

Our Boot is really amazing to drive. It’s fantastic on the road and off road floats over bumps. Driving a night stint during pre running was the most fun I’ve ever had in a moving vehicle. We’ve begun to deliver customer Boots and are beginning to build 4DR versions. We be back racing the Baja as soon as racing there

Seems to me that a trailer would be the most sensible addition, if his business grows he won’t be able to put everything in the bed of a truck. Fix the old truck as cheaply as you can, get a trailer so you can carry multiple mowers, make more money quickly, and then spend a little more on a used pickup.

I have. Definitely interesting. Hope it comes stateside. I'd love to have one hanging around
