For what it’s worth, the coffee thing was pretty legitimate.

That I haven’t had one yet... :-(

They are not going to be fined $18 billion, the fines *could* be near that number.

This, so that when you get a new car you don’t have to wait for the stench to fester.

Million dollar car, with what looks like twenty dollar leggings. Keep it basic, bitches.

The lad doth protest too much, methinks.

They said they let the brakes cool between the testing. “Already in the second measurement, however (after turning operation and renewed acceleration and thus some cooling) showed significant fading.”

I did the same thing with my FZ6R after some seat time after I got it. I wanted to see what the limits of my front brake were in case I needed to use the full power in an emergency.

I don’t think that an ~$8,000 bike is a “cheap throw away”.

I had to go with Nice Price, because it seems a little high for the condition of the car, but it’s not a crazy price. Get a little haggleing going on and you’ll have a real nice price.

Better than you banging on her while the anvils try to sleep.

I was down on the inside of Canada this weekend for TUDOR, and the trail is pretty long, but nice and wide. There are no benches yet, but you can see the entry very well.

Doug, I can’t believe you forgot the one vehicle that anyone, and I mean ANYONE with two eyes will love. The VW 23 window Microbus. I mean just look at it with at least one of your eyes! Windows (many), doors (four), a steering wheel (one), tires (four plus a spare), and an engine (one)! There are zero (0) people who

Quick test; put it on and shake your head up and down, and back and forth. If it feels like the helmet can move without moving your head with it, the helmet is too loose. Long (mostly impractical) test; wear it for a a week to a month and see if you are happy with it.

Many manufacturers will x-ray or inspect a helmet if it is sent in. They look at the EPS liner and see if it is deformed. You can do this yourself, but if it had detached or deformed on the shell side, you would not be able to see it.

As far as I know, the Snell test has a puncture requirement, whereas the ECE does not. This might require a thicker shell, adding to the weight.

I talked to a Tesla rep at Road America this weekend, and he also confirmed the ~3 sec 0-60. No word on pricing though!

American motorcyclist attitude summed up in one sentence: a “luxury toy like a motorcycle”.

I don’t agree, it sounds like this bike only needs stripping, carbon brakes, and the tune to make it 95% of the MotoGP bike. Granted the tune is $15k, but to be that close to podium from the outset would be appealing to a race team. I do think that the price is high for the market of a road bike, but if you look at it
