This is not the Hellcat.

This is not the Hellcat.
So, does anyone have a weight figure for the hellcat versions of the Challenger vs the Charger? I would assume the Charger is about 100 lbs heavier than the Challenger just because of the doors.
I have to agree. I've gone to EAA's Airventure in Oshkosh on a bike, and to a few regional sporting events. At Airventure, I still had to pay $10 for parking, but the bike parking in right by the admission gate. It was even sweeter leaving because I was able to scoot out quickly without waiting for tons of cars in…
Seeing the modifications they are doing to the motors, I would not expect Tesla to warranty anything in the power train. By driving more current, and changing the gearing, you are significantly changing the load on the axles, gears, and motors.
How else would you do it without a roller-gap regulator?
You're going to need at least an F-250 to haul that ATV. There's no other way to get up to 85 on the highway with that kind of load! /sarcasm
As far as I know, Can-Am is owned by BRP, formerly Bombardier.
Any of the 700 million people that live in Europe, who might be subject to those regulations? How about those 38 million people in California, who, as far as I know have the strictest regulations on emissions in the USA? Don't be so self centered.
Hey Jalops! I live in town, and if you have a sweet ride, I would like the chance to take some photos of it for you. Here are some of my photos if you're interested: https://www.flickr.com/photos/denkert…
Up here in the Fox River Valley, I feel like Subarus and Mustangs/Camaros reign king for prevalent "Scene". I do notice a lot of Nissans and Hondas though too.
I was looking for this comment because I thought the same thing. It would take an entire flock of pigeons to affect a full size jet engine, not to say they aren't a nuisance anyway.
Yeah, that's what I was trying to clarify, even going from the WRX to the STI is a pretty big change in suspension, brakes, engine, and other control bits.
While the Lancer Evo is about two times the price of the base lancer, the WRX STI is only about $10k more than the WRX. Can you count the Impreza as the base of that though? It's not really the same car anymore. I'm not sure about the R32, but the 911 Turbo is definitely more than the base 911.
HEY FATTY BOOM BOOM! I'm going to run you over...
I've always broken it down as such: the first number is the series, 3,4,5,7 ect. then the next two are just the hierarchy of engines, eg: a 28 is lower than a 35, then either the i or the x drive. Now, I'm not a huge BMW geek, but that seems to be the easiest way to differentiate on the streets.
I don't get the obsession with making the model names match the displacement of the engine. It's not like we expect a Corvette Stingray to have a stingray in a tank in the engine bay. They are just numerical designations for the models, those that actually care (Jalops) will just know that a -30i has the 2.0 and the…
