I love this. I have officially crossed the line and want an EV. The camper back option is the cherry on top.

Haha, I’ve thought about it a lot. It’s called a supercharger. Bye bye to my MPG...
The idea of all cars on the road being EV sounds good to me. I’m an ICE guy and it’s my hobby. So I am favoring ICE over EV for my future. Also, my employer pays for my gas via a gas card.
True dat. A lot of single family homes built before the 90s that also have natural gas for heating, stove, oven, and dryer have smaller panels (80 amp or below) and require a panel upgrade before installing a charger.
In the Los Angeles are requirements for EV charging vary by city. Santa Monica is the greenest of the cities. I’m an estimator for a general contractor that builds lots of big apartments. I’d say on average 6% are EV charging ready, and maybe 10% are EV capable (conduit, but no wire or charger).
Yea, I cant rotate the tires on my car. Rear tires are wider than the front, and the tires are Toyo directional rubber. Meaning I cant switch the front 2 tires.
Just impound the cars. This is typical in my state...
Ha! I own one also, in Forza. It’s handling is great for an old car. But you really have to learn how to carry speed thru turns as the acceleration is lacking.
Either slide 90 degrees like a snowboard, or drag your rear foot - flat footed. Stopping is one of the more dangerous parts.
No. I can't afford a new car. And I've had several used car shopping experiences with stinky interiors. Some I could smell as soon as I opened the door. But overall I love the idea of online shopping.
Also, I’ve worked in the construction industry since 1998 for general contractors. I’ve found that when I don’t own a truck there are many jobs I no longer to to do.
Ha! This is spot on. I drive a cammed and lowered Camaro. I’m the one usually getting picked on.
Glitch. Weird. I never opened this article til I saw your comment Joshua. I hate Kinja.
Heres a shot with ground level view...
This is so cool. I too have an obsession with downhill speed. I used to do downhill skateboarding. My fastest was 45mph. I am a little old for that now. The injuries get pretty bad.
I almost ran out of dog food this month but Amazon saved me. Thank you Jeff Bezos.
Old Unimog
You don't. You just pay the ticket every time you get it.
Funny, not funny. I kinda look like that guy. Maybe it's time I get a makeover.
