Dragon’s Dogma was a huge sleeper hit for me. It had mediocre reviews but I decided to chance it on a free Gamefly sub and freaking loved it. I found it overly frustrating myself but still really enjoyed it overall. How did it take you 30 hours? Are you sure you didn't leave the game sitting idle? I beat the game in around 18 hours and died plenty. I don't know how you could add 12 hours to that and be a competent gamer doing a reivew (no offense).
